A couple of years ago we had some El Nino (don't know how to do that little accent thingy) think going on here - they blamed a couple of summers at 110+ temps on that. I just hope that doesn't happen again this year!

Yea us too, but it was his Sister El Ninya (same accent thing) that messed up a sledding season... Not that cold, and F.A. for snow.
I see no reason in having Winter without snow...

But then I didn't have this sute to amuse me.....

My motto is sweat doesn't hurt road rash does. When they scrub it out with a brush and nothing for the pain.
Full one piece danese, danese back protector, gloves held racing, boots daytona, lid shoei X eleven, or BELL M2 ec.
Ride protected live long.

I ride to work every day in scorching Florida heat. But in the mroning its nice and I don't get sweaty. After the day is over its scorching and I sweat going home, but so what there's a shower waiting.

Mesh Joe Rocket works great for me every day. I bought a new Dainese leather jacket, pants, gloves I wore for the first time tonight at the drag strip and was extremely roasting toasting HOT, but was so worth it!

I wear JR Phoenix jacket & pants during the summer here... way too hot to wear leathers for an all day ride in 100+ temps here. Once it starts to cool off a little (late Sept), I'll switch over to my Alpinestars leather stuff. I always have my AStars gloves, boots, and X-11 helmet though...

Protection is great, but not to the point where it's too hot to enjoy the ride.

It was great riding home the other day (Here in Virginia Beach, Virginia) and go thit with a thunder storm just as I'm going over one of the bridges - felt great. And, 5 minutes later, I was dry - although sweatie - but that's why I have 2 labs waiting for me to "dry" me off!!!

Today it was 89 here and I decided to try out the Alpine Star T-Veom air flo mesh jacket...
WOW... I have always worn either Full Leathers or at least Jeans, Boots and a Ltr Jacket... But this Mesh Jacket is awesome.
Friends had recommended them to me for awhile, but until the last heat wave I never bought in... well I'm a convert now...

Yeah, that's me with the 9 inches of rain. El Paso Roads are all jacked, been raining EVERYDAY since I got the 14 last Saturday. It's usually hot as hell here, but this damn rain just wont stop. When it does rain, I ride, BUT, lately, there are HUGE potholes mysteriously appearing, lot of debris, nails, and sand on the roads....not to mention some of the roads are missing. Hopefully this week it will start to dry up and the city will get caught up on the streets.

Hope I'm not around here for the next '100 year' rain.

WTF..........
The bike stops faster if you use the brakes instead of the side ..........I ain't going down or getting off until after the impact...........

I wear my leather everywhere and get asked a lot about it...........and I too tell them that the heat feels better than my skin being scrubbed off.
