I guess that is why I just read and TRY to keep my mouth shut. I have been here for a few months myself but feel it is just better to read, get some info that is out there, and ask questions of those that seem to be in the know about a product that they purchased. I need no more drama.

Well big easy... I did ask for it... I was attempting to be humerous as well as ask some real questions... I have learned from those that have been here for a while what my place is... I will again revert to keeping my mind off and my mouth on silent.. I should probably sell my bike.. I am not worthy!!! Okay... so I am a bit sarcastic... life goes on... big easy... speak your mind and don't worry about it. I am sure that you have good and bad to say. This is an open forum... after you get enough posts... you can show the parking attendants their place!! lol just don't post that "this thread is worthless without pics" thing... it will cost you... ha ha Actually I think 90% of the people who post here are really informative and cool!! (I am in the other 10% until I reach the "Pro" level!! Then I immediately know everything and can speak my mind!--- okay... I don't want to overdue it!! I am guilty of being an a%#@ now!! Just trying to make a point, have fun... and open some minds.

Very well... I guess I was defending the wrong FNG!!!! lol... Hey I am sorry I jumped!! My bad... My pipe was supposed to be here on Friday... and of course, no pipe... then Saturday... no pipe... (Now I hear Tuesday) Now the wife has me hanging shutters and fixing the bathroom... she says... I bet all you will do is work on that bike now. She has some chef's party or something like that... Anyway.. I was probably too on edge to be on here anyway!! I am sorry to all of the forum for freaking!! without this forum... I probably would have gotten the 14... but wouldn't have realized the true potential it has. I really like the input that can be found on here. Thanks.. I will now take my medications... and don my straight jacket. Lastly... this thread truly is worlthless without pics!!!

Out of all that, the only questions worthy of answering are about the bike.
No I'm not special, the guy Bruce from Bruce Fabrications made exhaust for my buddy greg I ride with. I posted a thread when I first started about racing him on his GSXR1000. He told me that they were looking for a ZX14 to model the new pipes after, and I went down for a look. Once I saw what he wanted to do, I said yes.
I also have a local company (again through Greg) who is giving me braded brake lines.
I'm not turning down this stuff, it's expensive and unique.
If you have exhaust, or know what you want, get it and shut the fuck up!!!! I'm just excited about it, and he is offering people from this site a discount if someone liked them. thats trying to help, not being useless.
My expertise is not fixing but riding. I know how to ride with anyone. I need help with the technical, since I'm trying to do alot more myself instead of paying someone. That's why real answers help me. People like Busa with technical info (flies) helps me and is why I'm a member.

I was wondering if he chopped off your pipes at the canisters.. or if this was going to be new pipes from the collector under the bike. I then wasn't aware if he worked on bikes.. and wondered if this was his first bike... and I just pictured something going wrong and since it was not his bike he would just learn from it and walk away... and you would be without pipes. The last statement was again due to the implied secrecy of the pipe system... hence I threw ni the area 51. You were not the only one to misunderstand it... but I didn't want you to think I was giving you a hard time. I thought you and I were done after I ran your bike and pulled all of my posts that were negative. My intention was just to get answers to questions I had... I was just trying to have some fun with it... I really hope that the pipes work out for you and that they are cool...

I was just lucky to know Greg
He has a R1, and already has exhaust on a 2006 GSXR1000, he attends all the races (and races) and makes fender eliminators, clutch and brake handles, and other custom parts already.
This exhaust is billet aluminum, aircraft grade, race exhaust used on a track that is being made for street use. He wanted to get his hands on a 14.

I just want to know how they make an exhaust system out of billet? Seems like that would be cost prohibitive...

Not only Billet, but Billet Aluminum!
Same thing his spine is made out of, so could be possible, I guess?
Most of the real guys make them out of Titanium or stainless.

Probably like the Vance and Hines I had on my HOG...was made with Billet endcaps...
BB4...billet is usually made from aluminum...the word "Billet" I believe refers to the style, not the type of metal...
