Need help with Brocks maps and pc3
Got pc3 usb and was emailed Brocks maps. I installed the pc3 software and opened his no flies map and tried to send it to the pc3. Error incapatible map 199=263. I got the bike down and pulled the flies. Man can somebody help with this one!!!!

use the 9 volt battery option to power the power commander not the ignition. Leave the key off.............that's the way I had to do mine................it'll work............

You may want to try with the bike's ignition on just to see...........but if that's not it, it must be the map. I take it that you have loaded maps before?

vegas the map that i pulled from pc3 works. Brock downloaded it before he sent it. It works fine. Its the one sonny ran 9.02. I need the streetmeg flies out. That one ive tried different ways. It keeps saying error incaptable map 199=263.

Well vegas the map you sent didnt work either. Instead of saying 199 it said 150. I did notice in the notes the all the maps were for the 06 zx10 pc3. Could that be why the pc3 will not except them.

Yes different configuration for different PC's.
Call brock, he'll set you up with the map for your application, and PC3.

Yea i called three times. His assistants said they informed him. They also said it may be tommorrow morning before he ck his emails. Boy does that suck. Wait three weeks for the pc3 and when it arrives cant load the right map. Im excited about how the no flies and pc3 will perform. Another day with the bike down. I emailed zx1kr in hope he may get a chance to send a map that may work. Until then its back to the old waiting game.

Brock used the zx10 pc which has rpm settings to 13500, if you have the new zx14 pc you will not be able to download a map done on a zx10 pc to a zx14 pc, I had the same problem, what you do is copy Brock's maps from 500 to 11500 and paste it in the zx14 pc which only goes to 11500 and it will work or you can enter each setting one at a time, that is if you don't have anything else to because it will take a while to do it that way.

Mine does the same thing - Brock said he thought the map was corrupt but after looking a while this is what I found and did.
The map that came with the PC3 is a version 150 - you can check this by clicking on open then selecting the map file (don't open it - just select it) and the open dialog says its a version 199. What I did to get around it was to get the version 199 map - high light the map and copy it to the clipboard (cut and paste) Then open the version 150 file and paste the new data into the table - save it under a new name and send it to the PC.
I don't know what the differance is between 150 and 199 or even how to set it. In the open dialog it appears to be setable but nothing I could do would change it.
Please call Brock and let them know there's a few of us having problems....

Your error code was speed sensor.
you forget to plug it in after your last top speed run ? LOL

Yea i got it. Ive been busy riding the bike. It was the speedohealer wire that caused the error. Once it was back in the connector and the bike in gear everything was back to normal. I set the speedohealer for +10% and when i hit 11grand in 5th the bike started to surge. It continued to serge in 6th gear also. I decided to try +20%. The bike doesnt seem to rev as fast in the big numbers as it did with the flies. Maybe im just not adjusted to the new adjustments. Anyway it ran quick in 5th to 11grand and I shifted to 6th and had to slow down because of traffic. I couldnt tell what gear i was in because it changed the gear indicator. I havent seen anyone run the bike with stock gearing but with the pc3, brocks mega,flies out and the speedoheeler. I think the bike will pull to the 11grand redline with enough road. Next time i get a chance i will find out.
