No, you've got it right... it's very difficult to keep up with. I haven't decided if it's frustrating or funny. So far it's been worth a chuckle here and there, but it's starting to get old *again*.

Ivan has stated that there is no dangerous lean condition down low with the TRE, so wouldn't that mean that removing the flies is okay??? Also, I think Ojref tested his A/F ratios and found no difference flies-in/flies-out...speaking about an otherwise stock ZX14 here, of course...
Ivan lied...what else is new? Brock found the TRE to run LEAN...as well as the flies removed...I was happy when ORJ posted his findings indicating no difference with them in or out...but when Brock posted his findings...I put mine back in till I got the pipe setup and the map from him. It makes sense that it would run lean with the flies out and unmapped. Funny thing though...as I posted earlier, my 10R was reversed...AFR's went down with the flies out (12:1) and the bike hit real hard...this is what I saw on the Dyno yesterday...I'm perplexed as hell with that one.

For anyone who hasn't taken them out DO IT!!!!! Now the bike plays with me. Before, I hated lag time whenever I got on it. Much less now!!! Beat litres with ease like never before.
Plans- T1 exhaust ( I think), Power commander.
Has anyone seen the dual superchargers for this bike, adding 25 hp each? Pretty cool, just wondering if they work? If so, I'm getting those as well.
"Beat litres with ease like never before" (htosado- I am just showing your quote).
How many races did you drum up in the 2 hours you had since the flies were allegedly removed??? The flies don't really make a difference in a race... it is more of a quick hit... but the 0-60 time is about the same and the quarter mile times are the same or better with the flies in without mapping. I hate to say it but you are just getting caught up in your own lies. We would all like you better if you just stuck to the truth. We don't care if you have a 1973 honda 360... or no bike at all... but stop with trying to impress everyone... .

"Fish is that you??"
Is anyone smart enough... to be that stupid??!! And I believe that tostadafish was misquoted again... he didn't say dual super chargers... he actually said, "dude... super charger".. and he was speaking about the 1970 Dodge Daytona Charger race thread... Once again it is our fault... not his.
I beg to differ but......

No clearly he said dual superchargers for the 14!!!!! look at the very first post.

If you read the post above mine he was talking about an otherwise bone stalk 14, which is what I referred to when I said mine was bone stalk. I've only removed my ninja stickers, and my flies so far.
The Superchargers were on a flier and I don't know anything about them. That's why I asked.
Maybe I should elaborate more on every sentence for the cheap seats.

I raced my buddy on his CBR 1000, before learning of the problem. He helped me with the plastic panels. My 14 had a problem off the line, unless I really took the RPM's up too high for comfort. I feel that it it much easier to take off, without having to catch up everytime. that was what I was referring to.

Help us out here... In another thread you said that you only put 30 miles on your bike after removing the secondaries, but in this thread you tell us that you got "good mileage" after removing them. Exactly how did you figure that out? Can't be a difference on the trip computer's average, 'cause it doesn't know that you removed the flies and uses simple math to calculate it's averages. Did you drain the tank to get an exact remaining fuel measurement after that 30 mile ride or something?
Inquiring minds want to know. Or are we "misunderstanding" you again??

I top off my bike after every ride, and for 30 miles fairly hard I used exactly 1.2 gal. I cruise that same 30 mile loop often, and I usually use 1.5+

Uhh, must be pretty crappy riding weather out there for all of this Progesterone to be flying around. I mean you guys sound like a bunch of cackling hens.
Everytime I get ready to pull the secondary flys out I read someone telling anyone who will listen that it will hole your pistons. Then I loose my nerve and don't do it.
I've installed Area P Slipons, a PC-III USB with Area P's map and a Throttlemeister that I removed off of my ZZR1200 before I sold it. Sadly this was the only thing I was able to save from the ZZR.
I need to sell a set of Stage 1 Carrozzeria Wheels (3.5"x17 and 6.0"x17)that fit a ZZR1200 so I can buy a set for the 14. CZUSA wants $650 to modify the wheels so they will fit on the 14. What a crock.
Anyway, has anyone considered just drilling out the fly's and going from there?
And why is there so much freakin anger on this site?
