Sport rider suspension way soft !

I could not beleive how soft the preload and compression settings were, and how loose the rebound was!

i didn't even bother trying them, as my front suspension is begging for stiffer springs and more oil volume.
I'm at 5 lines of preload, 6 out from stiffest on compression, and 5 out on rebound.

I weigh 195 lbs, or about 205 geared up, and its way too soft already!

they recommend 7 lines, 10 out on compression, and 4 out on rebound !

Maybe they based it on a 120 lb rider? Yah, right!

Uh Dubious , isn't yours lowered already ? That may make a difference to the geometry and handling (it will) and if you stretch it , it will be exacerbated even more . Also , what was the weight of the test rider who suggested these settings ?

I raised the rear back up, both ends are 1.25 down from stock, so geo's are the same as stock.
They didn't give a rider weight, and I doubt they had 3500 miles on it.
Mine has 5000 km now.
Actually the bottoming issue was better up fromt, when I lowered the rear 2.5, and front 1.25, more rear bias weight, but it pushed to much in corners for my liking.

Dub - Your geometry is *not* the same as stock if you've got both ends lowered. Your rear swingarm is partly through it's arc of movement, and you've in essence lengthened your wheelbase and used up a fair amount of your fork's travel. I think you are chasing your tail. If you want the bike to handle, put it back to the stock ride height.
