Lastest 1/4 mile numbers................
Went to test and tune at Bradenton Motor Sports Park.. The track was packed and the heat was a killer ...Meet up with SteveWF , he didn't bring his zx14 but i think he now has been bitten by the drag racing bug..... I did get 5 runs in and had my best ever pass ....
60 foot .....1.56
330............4.09
1/8 mile ET & MPH 6.13@120
1000 foot......7.925
1/4 mile ET and MPH 9.44@147
I think with cooler weather this thing will go 9.30s
It was nice to meet SteveWF and his wife....Steve next time bring that zx14 ......Smokin...

Glad we got to see some 1/4 numbers. You keep getting faster on that thing....seems like you got it down pat now..good job

Likewise the wife and I enjoyed meeting you too!
The first run you did the announcer mentioned you went 149 MPH, we couldn't hear the ET
The drag racing bug has bitten for sure!

I'm trying like hell to run good numbers , it look easy in movies...... But it's not ....lol....

Good times smokin, lets see some 30's I know I got a low 9.60 in it if I get my ass off the line better.

Hey smokin, are you running with the flies out?? Probably been beat to death, but I'm trying to find somebody running flyless on the drag strip, to see if I should do it.

No my flies are still in place and it this time i see no reason to remove them ... Smokin ...

I asked Smokin' the same question in a PM!
I know "no-flies" has been raved about, and hyped to death here on the net, but I'm not removing mine either. Especially after watching Smokin's go down the strip Friday with the flies in.....LoL as matter of fact I'm no longer in a hurry to wear out the factory equipped BATTLAX rear tire either....
Today I ordered a Muzzy, ZX14 flavored PC, and "just-in-case" exhaust gaskets.

Muzzy order cancelled.
I went through Schnitz to place the order because they were cheaper. They called me back and said exhaust is backorder. Called Dave at Muzzys, he said 3 weeks before ZX14 mid pipes and headers are available. Everyone was real nice, I just need a pipe. I'll figure something out.

Whats the launch method?
RPM?
Shift point?
I find it hard to launch, might be my girthy weight but bogs down if I launch at 2500. Thought the flys solution was going to help that.

5500 and slip the clutch while twisting the throttle .... That may change for me because i just added swing arm extenions and a 16 tooth front sprocket ...Smokin..
