I had a '83 but no turbo, I bet that was a REAL handful, and a real SCREAMER!!!

I like the look of the short pipe, did it make for a hot foot at times?

1985 V-Max Colors: Deep Scarlet and Deep Amethyst. You can't get the amethyst through color-rite, unfortunately.

My dad had one of each color.

I have the pieces of an '89 in my garage.

Yes, it is we have 2 SVT's, Lightning for me and Mustang Cobra "pervertible" for her. I know this is contrary to the Dodge/Chrysler fans here but we just happen to like Fords best but we've had most Brands at one time or another.

Max's are fun but I don't even plan to ride mine aside from a checkout once I get it back on the road. The 14 is just too nice. That said, I won't be letting my wife ride the Max or else I'll have to keep it for her. The 14 and our Bosses are all we want or need.

let her ride it that gives you an excuse to keep it. i tried that with my wife and max to bad she can't ride . bought her an old craptana to learn on she fell over(forgot to put her feet down when she stopped) that was funny. but serious i'd keep it if i had it to do again.
