Since they didn't do a head to head with the Busa.........don't you think the 12 would have been the next logical choice? ( instead of an FZ1? )
No.....Because they no longer sell the 12...At least in the U.S.

quote: What happened to the brakes, comfort, wind protection, etc.? Does that not count in a road test?! Sounds like they're having a hard time dethroning the 'Busa. Rightfully so, I reckon. It's been a good bike, for a long time.
But...Time's up!
Well, it seems like they seperated the handling category from brakes, comfort, wind protection, smoothness ect in the road test....IMHO those should be included in the road portion of the test in addition to handling in the tight stuff which was the only place the Busa was noted to have a slight advantage...But the ZX also had the edge everywhere else in brakes, comfort wind protection, smoothness, sweepers ect....Tally it all up it clearly looks like the ZX14 is a better motorcycle for road going...
Did you see their mention of the gauges ? Another one for the ZX14.

I'd like to hear more opinions on the handling in the tight stuff. I had a ZX-12r, and that was one of the things I liked a lot more about it than the Busa. I've been seriously considering the 14, but I can't imagine buying a bike that handles twisties worse than a Busa. Slightly off topic I know.

Yeh, that's what I was saying. They seemed to overlook a lot to keep the 'Busa in the game... The 'Busa was/is a great bike, but the 14 clearly upstages it. I only hope tinkering w/the suspension will make the difference I hope it will. That, and low-end power, are my only real remaining glitches.
