if speedo says 192, whats aprrox speed?
I raced a new GSXR 1000 and had my speedo at 192, what does that translate into real speed?

I believe only a radar gun is gonna tell you. Speedometers with high ranges in my experience have always been inaccurate. I was on the freeway the other day and mine said 100 mph and I was just barely passing cars. Maybe Kawasaki fudged the numbers to make us think we're going faster. Will be interesting to find out and re-calibrate. I hear there's a speedometer healer device but I dont know how its calibrated. 192.....hmmmmm be careful brother, live to ride another day.

My friend had a speedo healer, and he was at 160, I was catching him from behind quickly then passing him like lightning

How did he calibrate the speedo healer? radar gun? dyno? I know you were moving waaaaaayyyy fast, it would be nice to know for sure.

he calibrated with a dyno after his exhaust and power commander were installed.

Speedo error is 9%
tach error is 2.5%
192mph indicated = 174mph calculated
Approximately.

Is this the same Perfect condition 1258 mile zx14 that you were trying to pawn off a week ago?
Is this the same one that was redlined right off the showroom floor?

How did you get 192 on the speedo of a new GSX-R ?
Surely they have a digital speedo which freezes at 186.

Hey Busa, thanks for all the same bullshit. The deal with my 14 never went through after I saw the Ducati and decided it wasn't worth it. i just wanted to make a profit.

If you are CATCHING UP then you are going a good bit faster....the GSXR won't get anywhere near 192.........nor will a stock 14 w/ limiter.

OK, I understand what you were asking now. The 14 speedo's seem to be around 7% optimistic, which means you were up around 178mph.
