VegasDude,
I saw your post's over on another site re: the TRE and PCIII.
Thanks, that was very informative.
I know this is an "Out There" type of question but...
Has anyone considered a modified secondary fly setup?
I use to mess with Holley's a lot years ago and some of the best mods were to drill the primary plates for bottom end airflow.
I'd like to try drilling my secondary plates starting at about 1/32", 2 holes per. What do you think?
I'm trying to come to a compromise between the very smooth bottom end of this engine and the on-off snatch of the 12R. Would a Wide Band Commander be required to best adjust my PCIII?
Any thoughts?
Anyone?

Well they have removed the plates and mapped the bike, but it caused low rpm issues. If you drag the bike only then this is a good set up if you ride on the streets the TRE is the way to go. No one that I am aware of has modified the plates themselves...

I am thinking about making some secondaries that are milled flat across at the bottom, maybe 1/4 of an inch. This will give more air without being wide open all the time. I am going to try it out on the flowbench to see what kind of airflow / velocity that gives.
