Secondaries Again!!
If removing the plates makes the bike too violent down low. Has anyone thought about maybe trimming them or drilling them to allow a metered amount of airflow? It would seem that that would give you the best of both worlds.
Any thoughts?

That was one of my first suggestions, take the butterflies off, machine off a bit off the end from each butterfly so that you get more air through than normal, but they still offer a bit of a restriction, then put them back on again. The general consensus is to just leave them off entirely and map around it all.
My problem is that if I had all that torque down load, I travel in an area where there are ton of road projects and building construction (crap everywhere it seems, all in the wrong spots too), so that much torque, even if managed by a careful hand could get you in trouble. That is why I was looking for either an electronic solution or a partial removal of the butterfly valves.

It does not make it "too violent down low). Just gives you the ability to accelarate hard without twisting the throttle very much----kinda like a geared, piped and mapped Busa.

Dynojet only shows a Zero Map and a Stock Map.
Where do you guys find the Custom maps?
I have a PCIII-USB on the way and Area P Slipons on my bike. I want to pull the flys but need the maps first.
So, where do you get them?

You have to have it custom mapped by a tuning center with the right software and dyno---costly, time consuming but worth it.
