Still no 9 but went 10.09@141
Well I'm still searching for the nines but did go a 10.09 at 141. was running in 86 percent humidity and temps in the 80's so I know that's costing me, but not sure how much. Still could only manage a 1.745 60 ft. If I can get in the 1.60's I know a nine is there. really wish I was not 218 unsuited right now.

That's a great time, but a crappy 60' time. These bike are a bitch to launch. I could only do a 10.27 at 200 pounds suited, but a 1.70 sixty foot time, and only 135mph. It was 90+ deg, and about the same humidity, typical for southern Louisiana.
The questions everybodys gonna ask; Was the front end strapped down(mine wasn't), where the fly's in(mine were), do you have an exhaust or powercommander(I didn't).

Bike is bone stock, no strap and the tool kit under the seat. And I'm probably 240 suited up. iflyphi you are running some low mph, I never run below 139.50.

Esp since my 12 launched so easy...
I haven't been to the strip yet. We'll see then for sure.

That sounds almost identical to my times. But i had a 1.70 sixty and a 10.06 at 138. I'm 235 with all my gear on...800ft elevation, 80 something degrees and 80% humidity. I ran this number 3 times and couldn't improve on it. Now heres the funny part...put on a full Brock exhaust ,power commander and a airshifter and could only go 9.91......but, had a 25mph headwind and i pulled the throttle plates with brocks map. It looks like it's running rich but it go's on the 8th of next month to schnitz where Ryan will put a tune on it. This coming wednesday i'll be back at the track and hopefully with no headwind we'll see what it can do.

Flatoutbu, I'm curious what you will run wednesday, please post. As I was thinking about goung with a brock system. But hope for more then a 9.91. What was your 60ft with the brock system?

Nice going Bently ...Don't worry 9s are just around the corner ....... My first three times to the 1/8 mile i got faster with each visit .....first time out 6.40s@114 second time 6.30s@117 third time 6.21@119 ...... You just need more seat time not more power....Keep going and with more passes you get you will get faster ... I was going this Sat night be we rained out and we rain out last Wensday night also ..... I think i would have been in the 6. teens , damn rain outs !!!! Don't worry about them 60 times, 1.70 will get you 9s .... More important than the 60 is the 330 time .... Look for your 330 cone on your track and use it to judge when you pin the throttle.... Each time you make a pass make a note on that and try to get the throttle pinned earlier....The 60 times will get lower the more passes you make and kind of fix their selfs ......After the 330 work on you shift points, making sure you shift right at red line each shift ....I know you are a big guy but you need to tuck in as tight as you can and as soon as you can....Maybe a double bubble screen would help you with that....

Great run, I weight the same as you. I have a 16-T Sprocket and stapped. Went 10.15 @ 139 60' @ 1.70. I actually think the smaller sprocket is hurting me. Even strapped it comes up in 1st. What are you shifting at???

Bently: yea i was hoping for more than that but that was the worst conditions to run in. Also i need a tire in a bad way. I know the bike has alot more in it. I thought it was me but i put my 60 pound lighter cousin on it and he couldnt do anything better than a 9.89. Just to let you know he jumped on it stock and ran a 9.79. Oh yea, tuck as much as possible, i used the airshifter for the first time and thought i could dangle my legs the whole pass and it slowed me 5 mph! The Brock exhaust is great, i really recommend it.
