Pit Bull Forward Handle - and they said it couldn't be done...
Well, I don't know what the big deal is. I picked up my Pit Bull Forward Handle Rear Stand this afternoon and tried it out. I bolted on the spool stirrups, set at the lowest position, then adjusted the width to match my spools. Then I put it under the bike, gave it a push with my right hand while holding the bike with my left, and voila! The bike rose up into the air and sat just like you'd expect it to...

I *love* this thing! It's WAY easier to use than my standard "rear handle" pit bull was on my ZRX... I had to push the bar down with my foot to get that bike in the air... it was quite a balancing act while standing behind the bike. This forward handle makes it SOOOOO much easier to balance the bike with your left hand while raising the bike off the side stand, then position the stand on the spools (really not difficult) with your right hand, then push down. Sure, I'm a big, relatively strong guy, but it really doesn't take that much effort.... I could push a LOT harder if I had to. I did put my right foot in front of the stand's wheel closest to me to prevent it from rolling at all while I was raising the bike, but it doesn't take much effort to stop that roll (see picture below).

The other thing that I really like is that after you have the bike up on the stand, you can raise the handle slightly with your right hand, put your left hand on your left grip, and move the bike around while steering. Try doing that by yourself using a rear stand! It's pretty sweet really.
Highly recommended!!!

I think you just manned up and yanked the pole
I have the rear pull up. I use a thin brick to perch the14's sidestand on level ground, connect the unit to the spools and lift. The only thing that I might buy in the future is a front PitBull wheel chock to keep the front end from squirming around while lifting the rear. I also have the PitBull front lifter as well. Excellent products!

I see what I was doing wrong now. I have it adjust too high. When I get the bike back. I'll lower it down some, try blocking with my foot, and see what happens.
Of course the bike will be 8" longer than when I tried it before, and lowered.

Yes, I can see where additional hight would make lifting the bike very difficult. It defeats your leverage by raising the handle too high.. Use the lowest setting first, then raise it a bit to see if it gets too difficult. I like the hight set at the lowest setting, but I haven't removed the rear wheel yet to see if there are any clearance issues. I don't think there will be, since it already appears to be higher than my ZZR was on it's factory center stand. I'm due for a new tire next week, so I'll know if additional hight is necessary soon enough.

Not too concerned with removing the rear wheel, just need to raise it up to adjust and oil the chain. Have a non o-ring drag racing chain on it, and need to oil it about every 300 miles or so. I'm hoping that when I get it on the dyno, it will stretch out, so I can do a final adjustment and go racing next weekend.
The down side; This is summer in southern Louisiana. It rains practically every afternoon!! And not just your little pissy California rain. Were talking one inch in about an hour. Definately can't ride home from the track in that, especially with a shinko racing tire.
Thanks a lot for the pics matt. I was gonna send the stand back. BTW, how big are you?? I can't tell in the video, but I'm 6' about 185, and weak as a little girl. I'm just old, so I'm not as strong as I used to be.

I'm 6' 2", around 260lbs... but I still think you'll be able to do it. Once you get the spools cradled on the stand, you can even let go of the bike with your left hand and use both hands to pull then handle, then push it down.
