It does look nicer !!!

Dont know what Kawasaki was thinking with the brown rims???

I say we get the person responsible for those brown rims installed on the 14, take him out back and give him a beat down!!!

I like the brown rims. They give me an excuse to buy some black Marchesini wheels

Looks like he has a bit more polishing to do, he has a long way to go before he's done. Now these are done, mirror quality all around.

Yikes. A nightmare to keep looking good if they are not anodized. Looks sharp but I'm to lazy to keep up with that much polishing. I'd rather ride.

ur exactly right...we do not do a mirror, show quality polish. this level of polish offers a nice contrast to most skoots without alot of re-polishing. plus we are a hi-po shop and i only do these wheel "accenting" for 1 or two customers. we all like to ride and not have too much upkeep on polished wheels.

And as we all remember how crappy clear anodized wheels look once that coating is compromised (from our late 70's ta early 80's bikes at least) and that nice yellowish hue the really old stuff turned to.

Looks great!! I did that to my ZX10r, and ZX12r wheels... I ended up having the 10r wheels painted the same color as the calipers b/c it was too much of a bitch to keep up.

Actually they're fine, I spend maybe an hour on them every couple of weeks. I can leave them dirty and not polish them for months, and they look the same as the ones on the 14.

As big as my front brake rotors are on my 14, I just can't imagine chasing a shine on the rims...although the brown's gotta' go

I could livve with polished lips like racinrays, but a whole wheel would drive me batty.
Looks good but, imagine trying to clean around the rotors, and sproket etc. YUK
Looks good Ray, and i like Jims too.
Both are good substitutes for full chrome/ polished wheels.
