Has anyone recieved the map as of yet. I'm apparently not doing something right or I have a problem w/my email.

Smokin' Just dont install until u pull those flies out, you'll go way rich if you leave in w the map. Let me know how it feels asap. Let me know if you get any popping also, if yes then I can figure it's in the map. I'm gonna pull the flies out of the 10 & 635 next cant wait.
Will post them too.

ZX1KR...you seem to be running TQ/HP below the stock curve in may areas all over, except at peak...seems that more AFR mapping and especially timing would wake it up big time...what are your thoughts?
Also, since I have the plates out now but nothing else done at all...are you of the opinion I should put them pack until I can get a PC3 and some mapping at least?

I used the Brock Dyno/Track map as my base map which was not optimum for my app. That's why as you noted there are a few valleys in the map. I just ran through the map & focus on bad lean areas. The 14 will get back on the Dyno asap & rectify the small irregularities.
My goal last nite at 11:00pm was that a map comes together that is better that running with no map set up for "NoFlies."
I only cleaned up the real bad lean spot between 3200 & 5200 at the majority of t-positions.
Then I added about 5%-8% at 80% & 100% throttle from 7000krpm to redline. cuz it was alittle lean for my liking.
Don't sweat it theres more to come. STAY TUNED!
Do you want to try the map? Let Me Know.

Yes, There is a pretty big lean patch that covers the majority of the cruisin area of the fuel map. W/o tunable fule management. You be walkin in dangerous waters. PC's should be in any day now. Let me know if you want 1. I'll send it mapped up.By that time I'll have all the little ticks removed & you will have full power captain!

For those with the flies out, how smooth is the bike now? How much has taking the flies out affected the response and smoothness everybody spoke of?

No , I didn't change anything w/ the timing I'm going to order up the Dynojet Ignition box.
I don't believe it's available currently though.
Will find out.

Any day now! i will send them w/ a loaded map of your choice. I wanted to fine tune the 14 & pull the flies on 10 & 636 this week but, their calling for rain all week so I'am gonna play it day by day. As I said before i will make available the final tune on all of these bikes when their completed.

Wow, Thanks for the map zx1kr. I put it in this afternoon, and all I can say is DAYUMM. Smoothed the bottom right out. I will need to tweak it as my exaust is different. Running Stock mid pipes with D&DS. You have done us a great favor by sharing, and saved some wear and tear on the machine too. I really appriceate it Bud....Tom

Forgot to say I mounted the PC up front ahead of the guages, and the cable run was perfect. Used one of the ram air duct b9olts for the ground, you would have thought it was made to route like this......TB

Thanks zx1kr, just installed the PC/Map.. Started pouring as I was installing, so can't ride at the moment.
I've never really messed with the software on a PC3(have messed with several automotive units)... All of the automobile units required setting the Throttle position.. I found that the power commander stock was a little off, and reset it. Is this normal, or does the PC somehow auto calibrate with the TPS voltage?
Also, I set it... but it was kind of a bitch b/c I had to do it with the bike on, nothing would register with just the ignition on. Is there any other way to upload maps, mess with the TPS settings etc with the bike off?

zx1kr .........
Got your map, thanks !
I did a map compair with the Schnitz map in my bike that has been changed
in the 2750 rpm range to the 5000 rpm range. My bike has "not" been dyno'ed
bi ut it "will" straighten your arms out !
Our maps are waaaaay different. Im gonna install yours and try it. I'll let ya know
how it feels compaired to the one I have.
