Muzzys Hyperpro Active Damper This is exactly what I was wanting for the 14. I had one on the 10 and its the best damper I've ever had.. However look at what they want for it.. Grab your ankles cause Muzzy's isn't using any vaseline on this one! Thats way to high... I know they want to make some money but I can't pay that price... I don't think many people will as well..
I'm interested not that price thou.. Group buy say couple hundred less...??

Check with your retailer, they will prolly have a better price for you. Remember, Muzzys is committed to not undercut their distributors, so unless you need it *RIGHT NOW*, you may be better served by buying through a reseller.

Vegasdude I will have to disagree with you on that one.. I had the ohlins on the ZX10R and after using the active damper Hyperpro there is no turning back Period! If you every ridden a bike with the active hyperpro or talk to someone that has you will see the same info...

Yes, I have to agree that the Hyperpro is much better than the Ohlins. The Ohlins is an old school constant rate dampener. The Hyperpro increases the damping exponentially with the speed of the headshake. This allows it to be almost unnoticed until you need it. It then can have far more damping than any non speed sensitive damper.

I paid 350 for the active Hyperpro on my 10R...Muzzy is not the manufacturer and dealers are able to buy direct from Hyperpro, so why should he worry about not undercutting his dealers? So far in my books, Muzzy is 0 for 2...the Hyperpro and the sliders are both rip off prices...I'll wait a few months to get one from a fairly priced retailer...fuck, for that $$$ I could buy an Ohlins.

I'am for the Ohlins all the way! Had a Hyperpro on a R1 I had & replaced w/ the Ohlins. When coming out of turns hard on the gas the R1 had a tendency to wheelie & do a little headshake. Well the Hyperpro would stop the headshake, unfortunately & dangerously, it would sometimes stop it w/ the front wheel cocked sideways causing near hi-side conditions on more that 1 occasion. I explained this to the Late Jack O. from Orient Express & he w/o question exchanged it for the Ohlins. I still have that Ohlins piece it rides on my ZX10 now.

If you compare the price of the damper with what some guys spend on shit for their ATVs...it's not out of line. Funny thing is though that I havent read anywhere that the bike needs one.

I've gotten a few slight head shakes under hard throttle when the wheel begins to lift. I wouldn't consider it a mandatory update as was on the 04,05 ZX10R. But, it would eliminate any possible issues before they arise.

and that would be normal....had that on my Busa and my 10R, both equipped with Hyperpro actives, which didn't stop it...

LOOK The deal of the future! Schnitz racing lowered the cost by 10 dollars.. LOL Can't beat them deals... Lets do a poll and see how many people are going to buy one?
