Pare is done,
rear link done
strap done,
pipe done
sprocket done
throttle plate done
ready for a map!
Late Next week ?
Last week was this week........
I have races this weekend.
I've made plans based on what was said last week!
Parked for a week, and then another week.
I'm gonna dump some more fuel in her myself.
I can tell its running lean, surging low end , and backfiring off the throttle.
arrrrrh

I am sure he is hard at work, but the bike has been mostly parked for a week waiting for the new map, then to find out end of next week.... I would have put them right back in if I had known ....and been riding it.
I got the same thing last week, except the smeg and map.
He said he would have a MAP by end of this week for the intake mod.
I emailed him, and will be phoning him in the morning too!

Did you talk to him? I would really like a base map with them removed before I head to the dyno

Talked to Brock today. He still needs to do testing for the throttle plate removal. Brock advised that until he comes up with a totally easy, reversable solution to the throttle plate issue, leave the plates installed. He is trying several solutions to the problem and will post his findings upon completion of full testing. Here is an exerpt from his fourm:
Guys,
We just ran the quickest E.T. EVER by leaving the plates IN PLACE....
The 14 is very difficult to keep on the ground during the launch and more torque and HP at 3-5 k with a stock wheelbase 14 is considered the wrong direction at this point in the program (until further testing is completed).
I will have no-throttle plate maps soon for non-drag racers and drag racers with a longer swingarm.
I am trying to finish Part 2 of my Diary...my schedule will not allow for mapping until early next week- even if I did think it is the way to go.
One thing smart racers do is make a conscience effort to KEEP THINGS SIMPLE- especially at first.
Learn to ride what you have BEFORE making changes. To think the bike will be easier to launch without the plates is pure speculation at this point.
FYI: The best E.T.'s that average/above average riders have had in the last week on my 14 is by launching at 1800-2000 RPM with the plates installed!!! It's the easiest way to consistently launch the bike.
Relax and enjoy what Kawasaki gave you- I'm pretty sure their engineering team has quite a bit more time into properly launching the bike than we do.
Brock
