Fuzzy Muzzy. Personally, I think there all about the same, give or take a few horsepower. I really want the Akropovic full titanium, but there not out yet. If you wait awhile you can buy mine. I will probably have less than 500 miles on them as I just plan to drive it to the drag strip and back, about 80 miles round trip. And I'm a work-a-holic, so I only really get about 5 days off a month, the rest of the time I'm away from home.

I'm going with a set of slip-ons because I just want more sound, and I like the dual cans look on a big bike like this. My bike's been at D&D on and off for a few weeks as they designed new mid-pipes and brackets for their cans. They have jigs built and will be building their first batch of production pipes this week... I can't wait!

You wont be disapointed wit the sound. Oh and you already have the mid pipes, sawed my stockers off with a metal bandsaw. Had to expand the D&D inlet by 1/8in and thy went right on. Originally the D&Ds were on a Busa.....TB

Looks good TB! I'll take your picture over and show them when I pick up my bike on Friday.
Glad to hear you were able to make your old pipes fit - much cheaper than buying new. I'll stick with the new mid's though, since I don't want hack up my stock pipes - and my new D&D's will be **free**.
I just can't decide which finish to get. I'm thinking about CF or their special ceramic-coated low-gloss black that matches the frame & lower plastic...

I'm really torn now...now that I've done the sub-plate mods and am making just stupid TQ, I am really having a tough time tryin' to decide about going with a pipe altogether. I know for sure that I'll lose low end grunt...at least 10% below 4.5k so I'll be under the stock curve from 4.5K down...and that's with a mapped PC3 and ignition module. I really hate the stock cans, but don't want to lose TQ down low...thinking about mapping the stock pipes with a PC3 and adding an ignition module...just to get a bit richer and gaining power by timing...I know that even with the plate removal...6th pulls harder at 4k than 5th...it's timing for sure...Busa was the same...I don't spend time at 10k that often...most of my time is between 4-7K...so the gains above 5K aren't as important as the ones below..I'm fucked...
