Any sproket made for a zx12r will fit!
Your local dealer probably has one!

I thought the 12r sprocket or the 14 had a rubber damper thingy. One had it, one didn't. Has anybody installed a 12r sprocket on a ZX14?? I don't want to have to take this thing apart again and redo the chain once I extend the swing arm and do all the other stuff.
Thanks for the help dub.

Yes it will work.. The 14 stock sprocket has a rubber groment.. In the ZX12r had one has well and when you changed the sprocket to one that does not have the rubber groment it caused vibration in the hand grips.. When installing the sprocket in the 14 I have not noticed anymore vibration.. However if you like. You can get a factory ZX11D sprocket it has the rubber groment and its a 16 tooth....

Can you just use the existing rubber grommet off the 14 and put it on with a 12r sprocket??

I'm a little confused. Does the ZX12r have the same rubber grommet as the ZX14??

I just installed a tool steel aftermarket sproket.
It was meant for a zx12r, 16 tooth, no damper, no vibes and fit good!
little bit noisy - like gear drive, noise hardley noticable.
You'll be grabbin gears quite a bit quicker!
This bike has so much power when uncorked ..... gear change really is not necessary IMO.
I will probably go back to 17 with speedo healer and see what 200 MPH feels like!

Dont worrie about the rubber not being on the after market sprocket ........
Its only a sound deadner, you'll hear a bit more drive chain noise.

I'm 100% sure that the zx11D sprocket that I installed on the 12 was a 17t. I also had a sunstar 17t which was not dampened...chatter and ultimately --bad mileage has it in my toolbox. Now that my 12 is stock again, it will be going back on. I am not aware of a dampened 16t sprocket, but I have been wrong before.
Anyone running a stock bike with a 16t as the only mod? How about a 16t with a full exhaust and PC? Just curious on how bad the mileage has gotten with the 16t. I'm still stock, but planning on the Brock Gen3 when my back starts feeling better.
