I have tried to piut a magnectic tank pad on my 14 but it would not stick, so i bought a pro grip stick on tank pad and it works great.

Is the tankslapper as easy to install as they say it is?

Takes about 20 minutes to get the air bubbles out...you can hardly tell its there after proper install. I would highly recommend it!

Sort or relevant and obvious, but when I'm riding in jeans I put my belt on from one of the side hoops first (not the middle where the fly is).

Most scratches on the tank are from the belt buckle rubbing on it - by having the buckle on the side and not against the tank they can be avoided.

(And doesn't end up being as dorky as it seems it will be - unless its a huge rodeo type buckle.)

The belt actually helps protect the tank from scratches from jeans buttons and zip etc
