Am I the only guy on Long Island that has 1 of these Bad Boys?

Put yours on the dyno...
Come on man my bike is already tore down for pipe install!
I want to do this tomorrow am after the UPS dood shows!
Do it... ya won't hurt it!
I floggeed mine with 60-100 mph rollons in top gear for the first 80 miles then let her have it!
280 km/hr on the first ride!
Really heavy gusting crosswinds, and turnin into a pussy... or growing a brain with age, and loving my children is the only thing that kept me from flogging the fuck out of it on the first 300Km.
Tires are 50% $ for you too!
If it runs even slightly leaner than stock discontinue test and let us know what you find.
Wanna play with the big dogs, and promote the business... put it on the map...
Be a pioneer!
Give er.. you won't hurt the bike!

Shaft is in...no need to remove as it won't impede air flow...

Bottom line -- These bikes are your's, not mine. You're the ones who've paid for them, not me. So I guess I should just zip it shut and watch the show...
I see you finally got it right.

I will use my bike, but I will not do this without a PCIII usb in line & I'am waiting for Dynojet to come out with a zx14 PC , not a modded zx10 PC. I know that there are a few of you that have this set-up in bike now & that would allow fuel adjustments.
If I pull my secondaries I want to be able to Correct the fuel problem & not have to reinstall the flaps if its overly lean. I'am sure u feel an improvement but, I have tuned some bikes w/ dry shot nitrous & they felt strong! Problem was the were runnin 18:1 A/F ratio on the juice & that's stupid lean. When I mapped them they made more HP & they made it CORRECTLY.
I have seen sparkplug electrodes burned clean off from lean conditions & worse. Not looking to subject my new 14 to that possibility.
I will tell you this. The moment I get a PCIIIusb installed the bike will be on the dyno with the flaps off & I will give all results. I'am on the fence as to which pipe I'm gonna go with muzzy, Brock or Akro when that is introduced. I'm currently leaning towards the Brocks.
One other thing, I have 700 miles on my 14 it's not going on the dyno until it gets 1000 miles on the ODO. With all the damn rain around here lately I dont know when I will get there.

Break it in on the Dyno! I don't blame you for being cautious...that's exactly why I've parked the 14 till we see some solid Dyno results, but I believe that they will show a reasonable A/F mixture as is now...

When I break 1000 miles I will change out the oil & do a couple of pulls on dyno .At that point depending on the A/F in the lower RPMs (under 5K) I will then make a decision as to pulling the flaps. If it's lean with the flaps in I won't pull them w/o a PC to correct.

Hey fastestbusa,
i got some info from the man himself on this mod, i'm waiting for his approval to post his findings, he didn't send me a dyno curve, but he did send the numbers and the AF ratio.

Cool! The A/F numbers are all we need to know...to be safe...Dyno won't much matter, just because when you ride the bike, you have a shitass grin from ear to ear in every gear when you throttle her at 3K....scary indeed...let's see them numbers swiftkart!!!

He doesn't recommend riding your bikes with this mod without remapping because the bike goes dead lean 16-1 AFR at 3,200 rpm which is cruising range rpm and could damage your engine... the gain was 10hp/20 ft-lbs at 3,200 rpm with a 16-1 afr, there will be a much bigger gain with good mapping, he will build a mapp for this mod after he returns from running his 14 at prostar at Memphis and should have the results by the end of next week. He's already left for the day so I didn't get his ok to post this or his name, but you guys can read between the lines.

Ok, it turns out he was still in the office and said it was ok to post his name, it's Brock himself. Brock saw 20ft-lbs gain valves removed vs Ivan's tre chart showing 10ft-lbs for the tre gain over stock so 10hp/20ft-lbs is still a big gain considering the bike being way lean at 16-1 AFR with valves removed, It will be very interesting to see what it makes after mapping.
Brock is it ok to post your findings so that no one damages their engines while riding with the valves removed?
YES- please do.
I saw Ivan's post....I don't have a TRE but I saw exactly the same thing...but opposite what he said?!

Who says kaw cant make a power motor. Looks to me they did preventive things to keep the power down. Ha Ha Kaw. I would how long did they think it was going to be before people tap into the motors true power. I think the bike still has more hidden potential in the ecm. Only time will tell.

Was there an increase in top end hp? So if one already had a pipe and pc. Would it be safe to add about 105 at 2500 rpm and then add 15% percent at 3k then maybe 12% in the 3500 rpm cell until it gets to a dyno? Lastly, was the 16.0 af ratio only at 100% throttle?
thx

I will be heading to the dyno on the 19th. I'm not sure if I will have a exhaust by then or not, but I will deff. be doing the pull with the PC3 and secondaries removed.
