Danger--Please Read

Like a good boy I followed the break-in period keeping the revs under 4K for the first 600 miles and under 6K for the next 400 miles. Yesterday, I rode the bike "normally"

There is a tremendous difference between "under 6K" performance and "over 6K" performance. The yank on the bike was so strong I had trouble shifting.

All I can say is, "Holy Shit"

But the dangerous yank stops at 186.
I hope we can correct that soon.
I enjoy having trouble shifting because of the yank.
I want the yank to continue to 200 at least, non turbo

I bought mine so I could I would have something pretty to look at in the garage when it rains . . . like right now, and all last week.

That's what we have here...worked like an asshole all fucking week so I could go out this weekend and do at least 1200 miles, now it's rain, fucking rain and more rain...gonna sell my bikes and build a damn arc...never seen such a piss poor summer in the last 10 years...this fucking sucks!

That hurts for sure! I never have more than an hour or two to ride so I'm not as deprived due to rain as you are. The majority of the time when it rains here you just get damp unless you cover some serious miles. Sounds like you're gettin' it WAY worse than we are!

Best of luck next week!

Screw the rain, if it's dry when I leave I'm riding. My ZX has seen rain 3 times already, 2 of those times were torrential downpours. Rain ain't stopping me from riding, just means I have to use a bit more elbow grease to clean her when the sun comes back out.

Isn't rain good for Busa's as it keeps their whale hump wet?

Anyone else out there who does not rev the motor for the first 600 miles ?

Can I suggest they read Brock's break in proceedure.
