Installed Brocks Pipe

Just got my exhaust in last night and stayed up and put it on along with the PC.. Very good quality exhaust and it weighs what he says it does.. Can't believe how light it is for stainless headers and carbon Fiber can.. PC is one of the easiest that I've installed. What I don't understand why the hell Kawasaki put that factory piece of shit of exhaust system on it.. 47 + lbs.. The bike feels like a total different bike and handles much better as well.. Take your factory exhaust off or just sale the Turd....

How does it affect the low end that we don't have now? There's got to be some loss...I saw that on the charts...

Fast i didn't notice any loss of low end with my muzzy pipe but it did wake up the mid and top end big time .... I never thought it would add that much power ..The factory exhaust is a pull of shit for sure ... I hope K&N or someone comes out with a hi flow filter to take care of the other but plug !!!

It does help the low end.. Like when the factory crap was on it you eased into the throttle and it would jerk and then take a nose dive. I can't tell that anymore.. It does not have the low end pull of the busa still thou. When I get more seat time I will let you know how I feel about it.. I'm still not sure totally that I would want to elimanate all that restriction below 4k as of yet.. The reason I ride some tight and twisty switchbacks and that restriction may let me carry more cornerspeed and be more forgiving than just having to worry about throttle control so much... The bike is way faster now.. Fastest bike I've owned with no engine work.. And I've owned them all....

So................................you are saying the old exhaust system with 30 feet of rope would make a good boat anchor?

Thanks Drowland and Smokin...I guess you would only notice a lack of low end pull on full throttle anyway, which is when it bogs to begin with...but I have to agree with you on the added benefit that brings when cornering hard and putting around the city streets...it's nice not to have to clutch going around city street corners...still though, would be nice not to have to gear down a few to pull out ahead quickly in traffic...my 10 pulls harder down low...

Dave,
I should have instructions by Monday for the power commander and to plug the pair to prevent back-firing during decel.

I called today and they gave me instructions on how to elimanate that decel popping.. Right side of air box (when you are sitting on the bike). there is a hose going into the air box pull it out and stuff a large marble in it and then plug up the hole in the air box.. Easy.. I will test and see what happens.. I also installed the Brocks strap kit tonight.. Pretty nice set up versus me riging it up.. Going to the Rock tomorrow and see how I do.. Its a bitch trying to launch it and now the mofo steering moves violently when shifting fast. Need a steering damper ASAP! I like the hyperpro Active (but not available yet).. Brock Help!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the tip on the pair valve .......I guess every bike should have a damper but at the track or the street the zx14 feels just fine ...and that's with some hairy wheelies at the track..

The PC you used, is it a modified 10 or is it specifically made for the 14... and if so, is it set up for Brock's pipe?
