used those on my 10R, now my low beam reflector's and bulb covers are discolored from the heat these suckers put out...

The cops stopped me for that little running light on my 12r. I had switched it to blue. What is it, < 5 watts?
This was a local city cop and he flipped a U in traffic and told me what he could have done to me.

I've heard that in TX, anything but white or amber is illegal on the front of a motor vehicle. Of course, I'm sure that varies from state to state. I've heard of people being ticketed or receiving warnings for other colors recently. I think they are tired of all the ricer cars swapping out to blue bulbs and notice us cycle folks too...

Only white and amber are legal in Ontario. Red can only face the rear unless an emergency vehicle and blue is only for snow removal vehicles... Green is for volunteer firefighters
