This TRE Does What ???

Can someone explain to me what you get from this TRE allot
of owners are saying to get. Is it a retarder ?? And if you gain
lets say speed or power what do you lose because any advance
has some kind of repurcusion ?? I have my 14 with a Muzzy and
PCIIIUSB (with 14 Mapping) just waiting for the copper gaskets
they don't come with the pipe swines. So I want to know about
this so I can install everything I need at once...........

Thank You In Advance Chris

do a web search.
They do not sponsor, as Fish has said and have gotten enough free bandwidth sooo...
BTW your gear position indicator will not read properly, and some drag racers have proven that it does not necisarily help drag times.... maybe roll ons... but not 1/4 mile times

Wait for a better fix. IMO

to answer one of your questions.... too much advance can cause detonation.

Hey guys, dont you think if the TRE was so great that Kawasaki would have made the 14 with some kind of variable ignition timing, similar to the VTEC system from HONDA???

Again if it really worked, then why is it not good for DragRacing, but good for street riding???...Once you pin the throttle the motor is under full load, so why have the ignition retarded???...The only time I see guys retarding their ignition timing is when using Nitrous!!!

Can someone explain this to me???

*Ignition* timing is variable in just about every motor vehicle ever made... even in lawn mowers have variable ignition timing. That's how engines increase rpm... add gas and advance ignition timing. The reaction of those two variables increasing causes the engine to accelerate.

Honda VTEC is variable valve timing, and lots of engine manufacturers have forms of variable valve timing that run under different names than VTEC... aka Variocam (Porsche), VVTL (Toyota), VVC (Rover), etc. I predict that one that all motor vehicles will have some form of variable valve timing because it allows manufacturers to maximize power for a given displacement and improves overall efficiency.

That said, I have absolutely no idea how the TRE is supposed to help anything. Eliminating timing retard would assume that this is a retarded timing that needs to be eliminated. That may have been the case on the 'busa or the 12R, but from discussions on ZX-14.com so far, it sounds like our "restrictor" is that 2nd butterfly in the intake, not necessarily ignition timing.

You guys can call Ivan and when you're done talking to him you still won't know. He talks in circles and double talk. I purchase some of his shit for my 10R and thought at one time he was a stand up guy, BUT upon calling him back with some questions that required DIRECT answers my new opinion is HE'S A DICK HEAD!

Ivan should NOT have called that thing a TRE!

Unless, it is for name recognition. How's that work out for the GTO?

It's just as much a quality product as Marvin's Mystery Oil or that Fitch Fuel Catalyst shit on the market though not quite as good as the Super Turbo SpiralMax intake swirler.

It amazes me the shit people will pay good money for that is Snake Oil. LOL

Figure Gunner kind of caught this guy in an Ohm's Lie, I mean Law... no, lie, yeah, I mean lie.

Like cam timing, things are pretty much absolute. If the guy can't explain simple electrical theories logically, and you know enough to be dangerous, all you need to do is question the answer. Between Gunner, fba, and Bitz's comments, that guy and his one wire in, one wire out little mirrors and pony trick unit can go piss up a tre... no rope, yeah, I mean rope.

What really did it for me was the fact that Ivan himself posted a thread over at 10R.net about idle issues with the 10 once the TRE was installed. I point blank ask him what was the deal on the phone ,AND he proclaims that there isn't a deal and never was. What a double talkin Bull Shit Artist. He made the damn post and lied about it. It's a sticky over there even. The guy can't remember what he said last and who he said it to. And don't even ask him anything about one of his self proclaimed perfect maps. He takes that like you bitch slapped his mother. Did I mention he's from POLAND! Enough said

three points....

1) the TRE dude has gotten plenty of airplay (more than he deserves) on this site for free for quite some time (other forums included)

2) Over the years I have YET to see a SINGLE thread come up with any concrete evidence showing that it does ANYTHING to somehow "better" your bike (say, unlike a Powercommander, yoshbox, braided lines... K&N airfilter, new tires.. .. things that have a tangible cause and effect relationship and have results that can be measured)

3) I have seen lots and lots of people say "Oh... hey... it's just $70 so it's nothing if it doesnt work". (WTF? DO you work for the guy or something? )

Well... I have news for you.. If you really think 70 bones is nothing then step up and buy all the rest of the shirts (they are real and you can actually hold them)... or perhaps we should charge $70 for membership...... 70 bones is nothing so surely you;d pony up 70 bones to log into the site if you're willing to toss it out the window on a "mystery gadget"?

I mean... it's just 70 bucks .. right? you can afford to light it on fire, cant you?

Shades of the infamous "fitch fuel catalyst", or adding hydrogen peroxide to your fuel... or running your bike without an air filter ... or or or or or or...

ya know... if those little Japanese guys in white lab coats created this bike do you think they'd leave out a cheap $2 part that they could sell ya for $70.

So... enough of this gay banter. If the TRE guy wants to provide some real proof I suggest that he contact us at webmaster@bikeland.org , provide us with documentation about his product, and units for 3rd party testing purposes, but stop spamming the site about it.

Until then, this is nothing but another snake oil story IMHO.
