Undertail plugs for ZX14

I had removed the stupid rear fender and put on a simple license plate bracket...anyone else who has done this would have had the same issue as I do now...what did you use to close up the holes and the center square hole that the license plate light wire passes though? I'm looking for something like a solid rubber grommet with no hole...anyone seen these around?

I just put a larger piece of sheet metal for the license plate that covers those holes as well..

My plate was mounted right at the edge of the taillight...so I am quite a bit farther away from those holes than you are...sheet metal won't work for me, thanks anyway!

Gregg's customs does a deal for the 10R for this. Possibly it will also fit that hole on the 14. Possibly not, but worth a look.

plastic rivets with large heads like the one between the fairing lowers at the front. Would that work?

some might think its pretty lame but....
I put black duct tape inside, so the sticky side is exposed facing downward over the holes.
1 burnout and its all black now!
water tight too! LOL

weighs nuthin.
Kinda crude but effective and.......
if some dork wants to look that close at my underside, then he obviously aint ridin much!
Don't get me wrong, I take good care and polish the bike but...Its a daily rider.
my bike will never be bling. maybe strtliner soon but no bling.

As much as I love this bike, i'm gonna enjoy it and ride it, rather than worry about it.

I've owned show pieces before......being anal kinda takes the fun out of it.

LOL so she tells me LOL
JK> thats gross.
funny but gross.

I just made my bracket big enough to cover that square hole. That also gives extra strength for when I add the luggage tie-downs back to the tail.
