getting 37.5 at 70mph with 500 miles on it
and it keeps getting better. its hard to short shift this bike at 4 or 5 thousand rpm but I am trying except to beat my brothers busa. just got my oil and filter changed and it went well...the filter was on a little tight but it did come off without much trouble. I have a bike lift so its not much back bending trouble. I plan on keeping it stock for now.....maybe a k and n filter and some slip on mufflers down the road with a power commander.I also have a 05 screaming eagle v rod done up with a supertrapp so I enjoy the quiet warp drive of the zx1400. the 1400 makes the vrod feel like it has wooden brakes and for a 600 lb. harley it does have good brakes but the zx1400 front stoppers are in a class all their own.it really feels one with the road under normal human riding conditions and it seems to go around corners well but I am no speed demon on the bends..there always seems to be big dump truck coming the other way loaded with tar or something so I take it easy. besides its more fun to be seen on a fast bike than be dead on a fast bike because some cage did not see you coming down the road so I hope to see all you guys on your black... blue and red zx1400 this bike is amazing if anybody has not gotten one yet ... go get one...you wont be sorry.
