How about a passenger seat cowl with storage space?

How about an aftermarket passenger cowl, but it is not just a dome like the stocker but a complete enclosed storage space.

Build it so its raised about 2 inches taller at the front with an access door in the front too.

There is alot of space available there. Could be used to store rain suit, spare gloves, radar detector storage, camera or whatever.....

I want to mod my seat too, its too far back to the hump for me, I 'm 5-8, and usually right up against the tank where I can squeeze the tank with my legs.

somethin like this is what i need...
Tobin seat

smuggler = cowl cover with storage?

Years ago Corbin made these ugly huge passenger rests, i chopped mine down to about 3" tall, it slip right in the receiver, and when it was off no one ever knew I had a sissy bar on my fz750.

My highshcool girlfriends loved it... Could really give it without worry of losing the passenger.
One crazy chick I dated was allways like faster faster Heh heh , on the bike too! anyway I had the FZ 750 upt 265 indicated Km with her on the back.
150 mph +

Good memories ... she was a wild one!

I would really like a shorty backrest for the passengers.
Scared my wife and daughter gonna slide off the back!
(i take it easy but still nervous, One good jerk of throtle by accident and ......... )
The subframe is stout enough for it on this bike.
