I know a guy that has 90K on his A1, cuts corners much better than somebody his age and size should be able to AND got kicked out of th Iron Butt for excessive speed. 
Can I enroll/nominate him?
If you are curious he goes by OldKneeDragger but we all call him OKD out of affection.

They timed him and one of the rally participants narc'ed that he had a flat tire which delayed him by several hours and he still (would have) won but they calc'ed his average speed and if memory serves me correct (pretty sure it is) they calc'ed his average speed at well above 100 mph.
If you recall back when I was on .org, he was one of the seven of us that made the first Black Hills rally.
Unlike the rest of us who trailered, he rode from Aztec, NM to Canada (Toronto I believe), came back and met us at the rally, rode the shit out of the 12 and then rode the 12 back home.
Two rear tires on one trip - I shit you not.
I haven't communicated with OKD in a couple years, but my understanding is he moved to here and has been fucking up young studs on Gixxer1K's at Pueblo since he got here.
That, I don't find hard to believe.
Can you imagine getting your ass waxed by an dude on an old green 12 on the track when you are on a state of the art 1K?

I think I remember something about that now, I wonder how many miles his 12 has on it now. Last time I remember heraing I think it had about 80K on it but I am not sure.

One of my riding bud's is 59, rides an old fucked up 1100GS...and can kick most anyone's ass on the street or the track...so I don't find it hard to believe at all....seen him wipe sportbikes and make 'em cry...he has sparks flyin from the sidecases on turns....fuckin scary...

This event has been postponed until 2007 it was a little too radical. I will update the information on my site. SuperStreetBike magazine is having a sanctioned event you might want to give it a try. Other than that please carry on....with what you do.

with all due respect, I don't think joe average is qualified to judge a sportbike anyway. there are very few members that have the kind of skill it takes to run a bike to its limits, as most already know, and you can't really judge a bike without finding its limits after all. you could crown a bike as the best for Joe Average I guess, but not sure how much of a crown that is.
