How many 12s, 10s. And how many 14s do you think Kaw is going to sell. The Busas popularity is sick. Its only because they produce them by the millions and Kawasaki only makes a few a year. Look at the 12's and now the 14"s are going to be the same. Its mid year and most dealerships has even got one in yet.

The point is that the aftermarket world doesn't make shit for the 12. I am hoping that the 14 will change that. However, with it not being available or just limited, the aftermarket will look at it as another 12 and not make shit for it.
And what about those who cannot get one just yet. How hard will it be later on in the year.
I just wished Kawasaki woul produce these bikes like Suzuki and shut that popularity down. Kawasaki is by far a better bike but very limited so I feel they loose out amoung the masses.

The point is that the 12 was a better bike, (moderately arguable), and because of poor marketing sales sucked compared to the Busa.
So can history repeat itself with the 14, round #2, Busa vs. 14 next year when the new Busa arrives?

In Europe the ratio of 12r's to busas is different than in America.. it depends on the market

mad mike.there was no point.,i just thought it was wild that they sold that many 190mph bikes from 1 company in the usa.think about all 10,000 of them lined up. now think about getting insurance on most of them.i can't count how many guys wanted a new sport bike but could'nt pay the insurance. what about all the 12's ,r1's,gixers.and the rest of the sport bike crowd in just 1 year.but i will make this point....how come you mr.pro drag racer can't get your fat ass to run the worlds most powerfull sportbike out of the mid 10's.i'll bet you right fucking now 1000 bucks the very first time i run a 14 down the track i'm in the 9's.you want to take me up on it. your fucking ego has got to go. you can't back it up with talent.there's a point for ya.

Kawi is keeping the 14 rare this year, so when they redo it in 07, they won't have to many pissed off customers complaining about changing it after only one year. It will be changed to keep pace with the 07 Busa. Like that one????
