for the record, i like to make videos, thats what I do. It fun for me. cars vs bikes, bikes vs bikes. some of my videos have been seen by a few.

I'm from the busa board also, dont jump down my throat right away...
Its NOT every busa owner that hates Kawi's, or the 14's. As it was previously stated, over on SH.org, there are a LOT of guys who believe the new 14 is the boss, and can take a stock busa. The problem, that you guys dont realize is that most of the busa guys who talk shit( I KNOW not all) are NOT riding stock bikes, and there is no way ANY 14 can hang with 7+ years of perfecting a high horsepower turbo bike. As of right now, the BUSA is the king of the drag strip, RIGHT NOW, but it might not be like that a month or two from now.
Having two stockers race on the street, (not with Ricky riding at a track) will be a better way to guage the true streetbike mentality and abilities of the bike. neither bike is a big handler, however if these bikes were to hypothetically meet on a highway, doing anywhere from 40-60, and they decided to race, what would happen. With that situation, there is no pulling over to turn on a bottle or change anything other than the gear your driving in.
I know personally that my bike wont have an issue with any stock bike, whether it be a busa, 14, gsxr 1000, 10r or any other opponent, but my bike is no where near stock. With time, and more mods, i'm SURE i'll have issues with 14's, as long as someone makes either a turbo kit, or a big bore/nitrous combo on one (which i KNOW they will).
I am interested in the "chance highway meeting" results, as I am sure many other people are. If someone were to step up, after seeing nick's films, i am sure it will be a fair race, not some set-up where the busa looks stock, but it a 1507 with juice.
Bash me if you want because I ride a busa, but personally, i know i enjoy the new competition that came with the 14...

I'm not confused. I'm simply reading this thread. Like many of the Busa riders, my money is on the 14. I just think it'd be a cool video because that's the type that Nick makes.

Ricky Gadson already tried them both and reported unbiased results.... not good enough huh! well carry on then... During a top secret test in Phoenix Arizona, with whether conditions, a beautiful 80 degrees with an adjusted altitude of 1800 ft.........a 2006 Hayabusa and a 2006 Kawasaki ZX14 were run head to head, both with 800 miles on them, both with stock gearing,stock pipes, stock height, stock tires(same air pressure),stock settings on chassis,same gas out of same jug(pump), and same rider(me)
alternating between both bikes after 4 runs a piece.
After 4 runs on the Hayabusa, a baseline ET of 9.92@ 141.55 (STOCK HEIGHT)
4 runs on the ZX14 netted a baseline of 9.77 at 145.89
after 6 sets of 4 runs a piece ,the best numbers looked like this
Hayabusa ZX-14
1.66 1.66
4.31 4.34
6.34 6.27
114.44 mph 117.10 mph
9.901@142.00 9.755@146.20 STOCK HEIGHT!!!!!!!
Without being biased, if anyone ever gets a chance to ride the 2 bikes, one behind the other, you too will be amazed at how much of a difference you feel in acceleration.
The 06 Busa is still a respectable and capable motorcycle!

Oh btw, get rid of the second intake cam, airbox mod, non stock intake horn, bored throttle bodies, hi compression pistons, put the stock head back on, and remove the TRE.

Unless I see it roll out of the showroom, and onto the track, I have NO reason to believe any busa is VIRGIN STOCK !

I live in everett too, if you are who I think you are we have met, couple times on the road and at everett powersports, last summer I was at the cyclebarn dyno shoot... I came in 2nd in the litrebike class behind the built R-1... you ride the big bore 12?
I think we rolled down at sportbike northwest a few years back, I was on the 03 silver gsxr1000, you also may have seen me around on a 02 blk/blue busa?
I roll with the dude on the green 2000 12 that has the purple tribal paint, I think you have met him?
anyways the best place for top speed rolls is the I-90 express lanes eastbound at around 2:30 pm, right after they open them before rush hour no one is on the bridge and its plenty of room, 3 lanes with zero turn outs...

Gixxer K5/6's are no joke; they are serious machines, very fast (like 10R's)...but you on the other hand, are still a joke Pilgrim...you're fulla shit and you're nothing but an unwelcome TROLL here....go to a Gixxer forum with all the other Busa losers where you belong (http://www.hayabusa.org). well nick, guess there are no fast guys here?
we tried, and thats about all a person can do is try, maybe we can test ride one, I can pull out my old school gsxr 750 and stage a race making it look like the 750 wins, you know how the car guys do it? guess after that vid is circulated around every bike board on the planet not to mention putfile, maybe someone will step up and say, hey, I have a stock 14 and I can beat that 750?
