My brochure clearly states; '' To all birds of prey, it's time to fly the coop. The Ninja rules." ( at least between 6000rpm and 186mph. Biotches)

hey, were just trying to give kawasaki guys a chance to take their place in the world of speed and document it, I live in seattle and will do it regardless of what you say or how you feel...

eventually I will run across one, I always travel with my vid cam ready to roll for such occasions, we top speed race and road race here on a regular basis, 12s, busa, literbikes, whatever, fact is only been beat by two bikes on my gixxer, built 06 cbr1kr and a built 04 R-1, but after a new chain and sprocket kit, plugs, oil change, air filter cleaning and a little FI cleaner I will be back on top I am sure of it, my chain with 17k on it is prolly robbing me of an extra 6% of my bhp...

I honestly think I will beat the new kawasaki to the speed limiter, we have a great place for such runs here... I have seen a dyno sheet for the 14, 165 hp, I have seen a dyno sheet for my gixxer 160, could be flopped and I am down on torque but if I can manage the throttle through 3rd I have a good chance if I can tuck early, I am small and slip through the air well and tuned up my bike gets to the speed restrictor in a hurry, just like the 10, litrebikes are no joke....

win or lose it will be fun, and 3 or 4 runs are in order just to be sure the results are proper....

My brochure seems to make it quite clear; Busa boys are my biotches. One more thing, I am a 14. Do not mitigate my ascendency by saying 13.5.

Wow. I'm genuinely surprised. Lots of smack talk about how the 14 is the way and the light but, no one taking up the challenge. Come on guys. This would be really cool. "Is there no one else?"

You, Etrnlsoldier are obviously confused. Smacktalk is what you Busaboys talk.

If Little Nicky really wants to do a video, I'm sure he can find many willing participants in his home town.

Ricky Gadson already tried them both and reported unbiased results.... not good enough huh! well carry on then... I suppose there nothing better to do for some folks ... have fun.. glad I have better things to do...personally I don't care or take it personally.. I like my 04 ZX-10R.. ZX-14R is the clear winner in a fair comparison...like it or not..

...By Ricky himself. . .

During a top secret test in Phoenix Arizona, with whether conditions, a beautiful 80 degrees with an adjusted altitude of 1800 ft.........a 2006 Hayabusa and a 2006 Kawasaki ZX14 were run head to head, both with 800 miles on them, both with stock gearing, stock pipes, stock height, stock tires(same air pressure),stock settings on chassis, same gas out of same jug(pump), and same rider(me)
alternating between both bikes after 4 runs a piece.

After 4 runs on the Hayabusa, a baseline ET of 9.92@ 141.55 (STOCK HEIGHT)

4 runs on the ZX14 netted a baseline of 9.77 at 145.89

after 6 sets of 4 runs a piece ,the best numbers looked like this
Hayabusa ZX-14
1.66 1.66
4.31 4.34
6.34 6.27
114.44 mph 117.10 mph

9.901@142.00 9.755@146.20 STOCK HEIGHT!!!!!!!

Without being biased, if anyone ever gets a chance to ride the 2 bikes, one behind the other, you too will be amazed at how much of a difference you feel in acceleration.
The 06 Busa is still a respectable and capable motorcycle!

BBB, One last thing.... are we talking about ballast between riders and bike? Meaning, if you show up with a 150lb. rider, and I show up 50lbs. overweight, will you add 50 pounds to your bike to compensate for my excessive posterior? Or, is this more of a "run what you brung" kind of a deal?
