Picking mine up tonight.
The dealer called and has mine ready for me to pick up tonight. All this time they told me late April early May and they wasn't bullshittin. I also got the color they told me..blue

i got lucky on mine. i sold my 05 busa on march. called the local dealer told him to call me when you get one. i waited and waited no call, bought me a 06 red and black gsxr1000 last month.then the kawasaki dealer called me last friday and said he had blue one for sale. i went by and looked at it and i said i have to have it!!! now my 06 gsxr1000 with 300 miles is for sale.

What are you asking for the 1K?? Any mods?? Are you going to the Texas Shootout in Houston next weekend??

has fender eliminator, yoshi carbon fiber exhaust , dark wind screen and gsxr matching helmet made by shoei. asking 10200 for it.picture of it is in sportbikez.net . it is red & black.
i have to work that weekened can not go.

I put the first 150 miles on the bike today. What can i say....i love it. It's comfortable, shifts like butter, the gauges are easy to read and it's fairly fast. I do agree with the "cold map" theory..this bike pulls harder when you let it sit and cool awhile, you can't keep the front end on the ground in almost any gear. I do have a problem with the seat latching though.....when you have the solo seat on you cant push on it enough to latch the back latch on the seat. I rolled up a small towl and stuck it between the seat and the solo seat and it helps. I bought this bike to be my street/dragbike so this week the forks get slid and the strap and the dogbones get put on. I'm going to start making a list of weigh for parts. I'll get back at you guys when i get it.
