muzzy slip on
does any one know how much more muzzy slip on will add to the power? would that help the flat power range from idle to 5000 rpm?

they only claim a 1% increase and a full system 8%. I just installed my slip ons today I will let you know how they are on the low end.

I'm trying to decide between slip ons and the full system, waiting to hear your report

They sound very good so far. I will let you all know tomorrow when I get home from work. They are a lot smaller than the stock canisters. VERY easy to install, it took me about 30 minutes with regular hand tools.

IMHO - full system, dropping 35 pounds alone is well worth the extra $300.00.

I spoke to MUZZY directly, not the best customer service, so I ordered carbon fiber slip ons from Schnitz. A few days went by and they called and said MUZZY is out of stock for a few weeks. Luckily Schnitz had a set of the stainless slip ons in stock, so I had here overnight the pipes to me. I hate driving a quiet bike....

The sound is awesome. They did wake the bike up a little on the bottom end. I will keep these on for now until some others come out with some dyno numbers. The mufflers are a little too small looking from behind.
