thanks guys for the welcome
and i got the Lowering strap off e-bay tonight
whats the verdict on break in for the ZX as i have always road my bikes as hard from day one to the end and never have had a bike fail yet But i have never owned a sports bike dirt bikes and big cruisers (rolling road blocks)

I was resonable.A few hard throttle runs up to 8000 in the first 50 or so and then an oil and filter change. Then rode it normaly for the next 500 ( some 3/4 to full throttle run in 2nd and 3rd up to 8000 but mostly just normal ridin.) Oil change again, plenty of little 20 to 30 micron ( really little) non magnetic particals. This is normal and is why oil change is so important. I took a small sample to work and looked at them in a toolmakers microscope 20x and 50x and was not concerned at all. Now its got close to 1000 mi and it is broke in good. Will do a compression check soon but it looks like access to the plugs might be a bit of an affair so will have to wait till next weekend.

Welcome. you might want to look into buying the bracket that go around the fron calipers to insure proper front strapping. I have ordered mine from schnitz. they are not here yet though
