The ZX 14 is going to cost us additional 10 K !
I was finally able to take a ride with Toolman last night.
When he had the ZRX 1100 and I have the SV650 we were pretty closely matched on straights ~ power to weight ratio gave me an advantage!
Now forget about it ... There is no way I will be able to hang even close with him ...
We hit it & it was a red blur - up out and gone before I could blink.
So, that means time for me to get a new bike ~ I will finish out the summer to gain a little more ability
Any one have any suggestions ? Not really looking for a 1,000 though

Why do you want to just "hang with him"???? Buy a new 10r and let him try to hang with you.

NAW, she doesn't want one of them overpriced, FAT, gas guzzling, tire smoking, rider cooking, two wheeled cars that won't out corner a dressed HD. A Boss is a fun second bike but as a primary they leave a lot to be desired. Saying that, I'm not selling the Bosses but everything else is goin' down the road, the garage has a new king!
A sporty little 14 is just the ticket, NICEST fucking bike I've ever had the pleasure to straddle. I don't know how they can make such a fine piece of machinery for such a reasonable price. Think about it, their labor and material costs are as high or higher than ours . . .

Dats a yes. Married one year this month. I taught her to ride about 3 years a go on a dirt bike from there she took to it like a duck to water. She decided on her own to take the MSF course and get her license. A couple months later I surprised her with a Kaw. Ex 500 of her own. She now has a SV 650 and loves it.
