Fishy, are the stock tires sport touring compound or soft?
Wondering if a tire change will be equired as often as the liter bikes with their stickier tires?
The stock bridgestones sport tour compound?
oh yeah, and did the press intro bikes have the air filters installed at the track?

Im guessing even with a sport touring tire, this bike will grind a tire to dust in 1800-2200 miles if ridden in the twisties on a regular basis.Thats what i get on my 12 with Pilot Powers or the BT012ss.Now those are not touring tires, but the difference in torque between the 12 and the 14 would make tire life about the same unless you really babied it

Don't know about softness but they are Bridgestone BT014's type "L" specially made for the 1400. Performance Bikes magazine said "...designed for really fat bikes going really fast" If they do 2 t0 3 thousand miles it would be good.
