Doob...they are in Canada at the warehouses now...1st round shipping to the dealers this week! Some will make it OTD on Thursday/Friday. My dealer has 2 black ones coming Thursday (both sold). I get to pick the one I want (the faster one).

Busa, If your dealer can get them from vancouver and have your bike pdi'd in the next 2 days, I'll be very impressed. BTW, very limited in quantity.

They were in Vancouver last week and were shipped from there like 10 days ago. They are in the warehouse today, and PDI takes a few hours only. Why is that so tough to believe? Very limited in qty...yes I agree; they only have 2 bikes coming (black) in this shipment, both sold.

The reason that's so "tough to believe" is that our "dealers" have been telling us that line for weeks now... why should it be true this time?
Just a little reality check is all. I still won't believe ANY of these rumors until someone posts a picture of THEIR new 14 here...

Hmmmm sumtin very fishy!
Only 1 dealer in Alberta could confirm a date.
Will arrive by boat April 21, then would be delivered to dealer by truck around May3-4 th.
Small local dealer.
The bigger city dealers had no clue... up to 2 weeks, including my current dealer.
My current dealer may want to straighten up!

Relax Dubious..well, kinda anyways. They are in Canada in limited quantities. Not enough to go around for all dealers at first. Call your dealer again, I have a feeling he knows more now...especially if your bike is one of the first ones. Your dealer doesnt need to straighten up. They can only tell you what they are told

what I meant by that was get informed.
How can one little dealer find the info for me , and another larger one always replies DONO?
So when should the 1 st batch arrive, and when would one expect the 2nd batch of bikes?

Well the first batch is arriving now or very soon. The million dollar question is how long the wait for the second batch for those of us not lucky enough to score one of the first?

Cuz maybe the one little dealer called the rep and found out and the big one didnt. The bikes or bike are on the way to your little dealer as we speak. No one knows when the second batch is coming

Thank you, Bruce.
Should my dealer know what color he will be getting?
Here is the story...
Deposit December 28- $1000
I paid off the balance on April 1st.
I was the first deposit, and first to have bike paid for at my dealer.
He is now telling me he does not know when my bike will arrive, as he does not know what colors he is getting.
I did not realise, nor was informed that color may delay my bike for another 4 weeks or possibly more.
Otherwise I would not have chose a color, I would have chosen 1st bike.
I kinda thought that was why I was making deposit in December, and pre paying in April 1st.
I am not concerned about color any longer, and was undecided between blue or black anyway.
It seems pretty unfair to make a pre paying customer who has always had the 1st deposit wait un undeteremined amount of time longer than those who have not yet paid, or were further down the list of deposits?.
I do not understand what is going through their minds.
Maybe the dealer is trying to push me out of the deal, as my contract is not for full MSRP.
This is getting very frustrating.
I left a message, and am awaiting a reply from the manager/ owner.
Can you help me out Bruce?
Do the dealers know how many bikes they are getting in 1st batch, and colors do they know colors?
Thanks Bruce.

Your dealer should give you the option of changing colors if you are the first to put a deposit on the bike. It seems true that the dealers do not know what colors they are getting until the bikes are in the distribution center and the shipping paperwork is complete.
So far in this area the bikes have not arrived in the Chicago warehouse. When they do they will generate the bill of lading to the dealer and they will have the info including the VIN numbers.
In my case there are two people in front of me for black bikes. I ordered blue. If a blue bike comes in the dealer says it's mine. I'm not sure what would happen if one of the other customers that ordered a black bike decided to take any color. I imagine I would be SOL.

Well Lyle, those issues are between you and your dealer. Good luck..
