315 KPH = 195.732 MPH
5% Speedo Error = 185.945 MPH
7.5% Speedo Error = 181.053 MPH
10% Speedo Error = 176.159 MPH
Historically, Kawi speedos are usually 7% to 8% off with OEM gearing and tires.
The 300 KPH voluntary speed limitation works out to 186.412 MPH. With a 7.5% speedo error, that'd work out to be 200.392 MPH indicated.

Japanese was translated into English.
I repeat say, My English relies on the web translation. It is considerably negligent.
Impression by Shunji Yatsushiro ....... pass. I don't want to translate LOL.
Interview summary
Interview #1, - Kawasaki, ZZR project leader, Yuji HORIUCHI
Q: What is development concept of this machine?
A: It is the strongest in the world. There are two of the strategies of ZX-12R and ZZR1200 as for the flagship. ZX-14(ZZR1400) was made from the thing of unifying it.
Q: It is put on the market as ZX-14 in the United States. There is a model named ZZR and ZX-12R up to now, and a new technology such as the monocoque frames has been turned on especially as for ZX-12R. Does ZX-14 have something technical succession from 12R?
A: We think it important to inherit new technology original with KAWASAKI. Technically, the monocoque frame from 12R, the engine base, etc. are inherited.
Q: The engine of ZX-14 is compacter than that of 12R. It seems that vibration is mitigated by having equipped engine with the balancer. What is the point in which it had a hard time when developing?
A: It is how to make small the engine which gained in displacement volume and a horsepower. The packaging was difficult.
Q: About the design. There are six lamps including the position lamp. What is this concept?
A: This design was determined by complicated progress. In the initial stage of a design concept, there was an idea of saying that force and a feeling of coercion are given to the car which runs a front. (When the front face of ZZR1400 is reflected in a rearview mirror, the person wants to avoid and will become the edge of the road.)(annotation: I cannot translate into a nice words.)
Q: If you have a message to the user, say please.
A: If there is no portion which projected, from a visitor, it will not be recognized as it being the motorbike of KAWASAKI. This adhered to a horsepower and acceleration power, in order to express that it is the motorbike of KAWASAKI.
Interview #2 - KAWASAKI, body design, Hiroshi ISHII
Q: I was surprised to test. It is because it was very stable also near maximum high-speed. I was able to run at ease with a full throttle. What is having taken pains over the design?
A: The monocoque frame is adopted in this machine. To achieve the best stability and handling, a lot of adjustments were done. Adjustment of thickness of each part, Change in rigidity of engine mount, etc...
Q: When this machine was seen first in Motor Show, it was visible to the uncanny big body. However, it is compact and the gait is good when actually getting on. Something is devised?
A: There is a tank under the seat. The seat rises when the tank area is taken enough. It took care so that the performance of a frame could be obtained, where the optimal position is maintained.
Q: The caster angle is 23 degrees, and the trail is 94mm. However, with stability when running.
A: The exquisite value was aimed at so that stability and light handling might not be spoiled.
Q: Was it calculated on the desk?@Or have you adjusted it actually running?
A: It is both. It ran many times and the numerical value was decided.
Q: What is the point that has a hard time in the engine power and maximum speed?
A: Though it becomes the talk of the frame again ... If only stability is searched for, the light feeling of handling will be spoiled. It adjusted little by little and it aimed at optimization.
Q: What is the merit of a monocoque frame?
A: The seat under becomes slim by adopting the monocoque frame. Therefore, the riding position improves.
Q: Finally, please give me the appeal point of ZZR1400/ZX-14.
A: The name of ZZR is special for Kawasaki. I think that it became the motorcycle unified at a high dimension which it is not ashamed of to the name. I want you to get on New ZZR by all means. thank you.
tired.....
P.S.
Please do not blame me. Japanese peoples are not good at English. OK? ... you say please, " Yes, OK ! LOL "

The Busa has reigned for 8 years, its about time Kawasaki got it right, this is what they should have built in 2000, when they pieced that ZX-12R together, did you notice there is no "R" designation on this bike, this is the true successor to the ZX-11.
