ZX14's Shipping
I know alot of folks have heard magic dates, and got next week , next week answers from dealers who really don't know when the bikes are arriving.
We'll good news the bikes will start being distributed to dealers Friday April 14th, for those who know of my posts, know I don't posts rumors or fantasies. Depending on where your dealer is in the pipeline there will be 1 bike per dealer in about a week and then the rest of the alllotments will begin to flow.
Don't ask me where I got this from because I won't tell you, but it is what's going on as you read this.

I ask this becasue my dealer said they will have on eon friday. They actually called me on monday to tell me this

I'll bet he's right though...i'm quite sure we will see them in the next few days...my dealer has said the bike are on the trucks en route to him now....possible as early as this Friday or early next week, mine should be in hand. He's been indicating mid April for about 6 weeks now...he called me yesterday to let me know this and told me that as soon as it got there, he would deliver a few hours later...

They will be leaving the stateside warehouses
I posted it because there are alot of folks who really want to know when they will get their bikes, and the information is not available to them.
And SMOKIN, life is not like a box of chocolates ! Sometimes you know just what your getting if you know who is doing the baking!

My dealer has said all along, April 10-15th and I should be riding by Easter weekend so It sounds like they were right, but it's still not easter yet.

I'm with you, I just have a connection that is better than anyone could imagine and if they say they are leaving the warehouses this weekend, get ready to ride. I know that the delay was not performance based but could not get any reason, and as long as it wasn't a performance issue and now mine is on the way. Yahooo !
I got some BUSES to split ..................

Can you just imagine the scene:
4 Japanese guys yelling on a production line that is not moving, filled with half assembled 14's and one American guy on a cell phone trying to translate, saying "Fuck it! Tell em they are being shipped....oh yea? Well what the fuck you expect me to do, build em myself? Tell them they are stuck in customs or some other bullshit. I don't care! You tell them whatever the hell you want!" Click. Pan right and up to the window and out......

Here's a better one -- In Quebec, the govt is considering banning sport bikes due to the massive power and diminuitve weight/size. They say bikers (sport) are getting killed due to that. Now, in Japan where they make these damn things, sport bikes are banned,,,,that is a fact. It was in today's paper here in Montreal. Surely there must be a better solution -- so I might have to move to Ontario or even further west...plates here are going up to $1382.00 for SS bikes and large displacement engines over the next 2 years...not done yet, but may yet happen...(likely).

unless somehting has changed in a big way from when i was there, that is only a fact in a very inaccurate, misleading way. i remember being told that they have HP restrictions similar to france and other countries, so what is "banned" is full horsepower, un-neutered bikes. However they are not actually banned, the manufacturer just can't distribute them to the domestic market. If you want an unmolested model, you import it from another country is all. can anybody confirm this?

I am french by genetics, but western at heart.
We westerners really love how the east (tries) control everything every where else.
Seat in parliament should be determined by land surface area. not population.
How can someone 3000 miles make the right decision for anyone but themselves.
Move out here bro.- Alberta.
No deficit, fighting gun laws, big incomes( to spend on car parts), fresh air.
This is the land of oportunity.... if only we could keep the feds and eastern poloticians out of our business.
