What does Kawi gain over being so secretive?
While waiting for my own 14 I have been reading through everyones comments about what their dealer tells them and what Kawasaki tells them. I have personally called Kawasaki 4 times to inquire on the status, and have been given a BS answer every time. It would be one thing if they said they were stuck in customs, on the boat, in Japan, etc, but each time I have been told they were on the truck in transit to the dealers.
If I had a firm date of 6 weeks I would be happy enough, but to keep getting your hopes up just so they can buy time is wrong. I just don't understand the logic for not being straight with people. I for one will never buy another Kawasaki that is not on the showroom floor.
.....Rant over.

Maybe they don't know...........when I ordered my Z06, my dealer could not tell me anything about delivery. Our Z06 board had a contact called JDogg, who tracked our Z's. If fact, he emailed me when my Z arrived at the dealership. I called my dealer and asked him how my car looked and he said it wasn't there. I told him it was. I drove down and my car was on the carrier truck in the middle of the street. My dealer was in shock!! The bikes are coming. They will get here. Don't stress...............

Well whatever the reason is, they (corporate headquarters) feels it would reflect bad on them or the product.

The sheer unprofessionalism is what remains in my thoughts. The idea that KHI hasn't learned anything from their past mistakes of timely realeases is unforgiving. Sure the bike may be great by all first accounts, but the fact still remains that somewhere along the way KHI is disorganized to the point of marring their reputation again, or should I state salidifying their position of a lesser company not worthy of a top billing such as their competitors.

If they keep stringin the next week deal, then everyone will keep waiting.
Of course they will not tell you 4-8 weeks away.
Everyone would walk away and buy somethin else!
Before May I think.

Vegasdude will you adopt me? I'm relatively clean, I can fix anything, and I come with my own built LS1.

I have been hearing they are either in distribution warehouses stateside, or in transit to the dealers for two weeks now. If they are in a warehouse.....sort it out Kawasaki, you don't make money or friends that way.
