They're Here (Friday)
I just got a call from the Dealer saying the 14 will be ready Saturday, possible Friday. I'm pushing for a Friday pick up so I can do my trip Saturday. Now this puts me between a rock and a hard place for the deposit I put down last week, guess I'll work out those details later but here the light at the end of the tunnel. They are getting one of each color and only 1 deposit for sure so Blue or Black works for me. At any rate we are within 72 hours in Florida. Keeping my ear to the ground and I'll have the pictures as soon as possible.

If all goes well I'll be in NC on Saturday then I have to work all next week so maybe If I can get the wife to watch the kids? You gotta love being a dad.

Saturday would suck, as I'll be riding twisties in Arkansas that day. If my dealer tells me that it'll be here Friday, I'll hang around and wait to pick it up, then leave for AR... Damn I wish it would get here tomorrow!!

Matt,
In about an hour I'm heading up to the dealer who called me to see how quickly I can actually get the bike. I'm unsure if Saturday can't be moved up....Hell I'll build her myself, I did the VFR right out of the crate. Anyway I'll update you as soon as I get back.

Thanks for keeping us updated Rob.
I tried to call my primary dealer (he's got better contacts I think), he wasn't in... I'll try back later today.
I called my 2nd dealer, he called the "Kawasaki order desk" and was told that the 14's still aren't in the US yet. We'll see if that holds water... I sure hope it doesn't

Matt,
getting my 04 zx12 dynoed in ElDorado Arkansas on Sat but will be riding the twisties in Arkansas on Sunday. We'll be running 341&123 also. Maybe we'll run in to each other, I'll be on a blue zx12 or blue and white 01 gsxr 1000.

I just received a call from my Suzuki dealer this morning. He said to come pick up both my bikes.
I now have a lime green 1500 Busa (a zx14 replica), and a "Chrysler Cream" color'd in line 6 Suz sitting in my garage right now. I figure one of these might do the job on the 14?
Since the body parts are interchangeable, both have a creamy green look about them now. No time to ride them yet. I'm having a little trouble with the fairing's windshield fitting over part of the back seat. I still want that 14 look to it.
I stopped waiting for the 14. I just couldn't take the pressssssure!

Lilrock - I'm not sure if we'll make it all the way up to 123 on Saturday, that may be a bit too far from Mena, and I don't know where 341 is . I'm really not "up" on all the roads up there, I usually follow other leaders who are familiar with the roads. I'm sure we'll be on 123 on our May 5/6/7 ride though - we are riding out of Hot Springs Village that weekend. This weekend (unless a miracle happens) I'll be on my silver ZZR. Hopefully by May I'll be on a Blue or Red ZX-14

I just called the Kawasaki consumer line. The nice fellow there told me that ZX-14's are being delivered to dealers "now". When I asked for a clarification of "now", he told me that some dealers are getting their first round this week, but that all dealers will have their initial shipment (no specific numbers) by 1-2 weeks.
Still trying to reach my primary dealer GM or owner... they haven't been able to come to the phone so far today.... they're probably out romping on my new '14!!

Guys,
Here's what I Know. The bikes have been released from Jacksonville. They may get here Thursday, it may get here Monday/Tuesday next week. I told him about my trip Saturday and he said he'd do what he could to have the bike ready Friday. I also got him to drop the price by 75 dollars over the other dealer so I'm at 12,500 including a centerstand. I know it's not great but works ok for me.
I'll keep you up to date as soon as I know.

I ment to say that my dealer has 5 in route. 2 deposits on the 3 black ones, mine on the blue and none on the red. It's not a huge shop.

Jacksoonville Florida. I was told that's one of the ports these puppies come through? I'm just repeating what I'm told. Just for the record, I have no idea how these puppies are routed.

I saw 4 "K-Line" containers heading West out of Fort Worth this morning on my way to work. Maybe they were empty heading back to LA after dropping some ZX-14's in the Irving, TX, warehouse.
At least that's what I was thinking at 6:45 this morning as I sat there waiting for the train to pass...

Nightmare you are not to far from me i am in columbia sc. My family also has a house in walterboro which is about a hour north of you maybe we can get together and ride this summer!
SMokin where are you located. Are you in FLA i was asking because its about 4-5 from columbia to jacksonville

Holy crap batman...2 topics called "Their here" or "There here" and neither is right...how about "They're here"?
Bored...just foolin but, being in Montreal, QC (a port city where bikes DON"T come in by boat, go figger)...I really hope we get our ZX's in soon...the wait is killin me! Need a big fast heavy pig NOW... called my dealer and said that I no longer had a color preference...just wanted the 1st ZX he got...they are still saying mid to end of April (06)
