The Brochures Are Here!

I went to my dealer yesterday to turn in a credit app and they had the brochures for the ZX-14. Very nicely done. Double page fold out, heavy UV coated gloss card stock, the works.
Lets see. I have the brochure, I have the shirt, every picture and video on the internet but I have the nagging feeling that I am missing something...................

A little fancy Japanese origami with the brochure and you will have your bike.

Well I have to take some heat as well, the tech that I talked to said the week of March 23rd we should start seeing shipments arrive....OK Bishop I'm as guilty as everyone else of buying into the hype...Here is why I'm hoping this week we will see pics of beautiful new ZX-14's.
1. Most agree the first week of April the 14 will arrive?
2 The ZX-10s arrived about a week earlier than expected (again I'm buying into the dealers BS).
3 I just have a feeling this is the week.
I tend to buy into the last one more than the first 2. Lets hope there will be no egg on my face this week, I have a couple thousand mile trip planned on April 8th & 9th and prefer to take it on a bike with a couple hundred miles on her than one with over 81,000..Still I'm going either way.

We can all agree about anything we want to, but that isn't going to have any affect on whether or not the 14 arrives any time soon...

We are all stuck playing the waiting game and will jump on *anything* new that we hear. The only thing that will get my attention in the coming weeks is a picture of someone with their ZX-14... everything else is crap.

So we wait...

Brochures, Hmmmmm. Me want . Ah no kidding it's always nice to keep a bike for a few years and pull out the original add brochure. The only problem I have is keeping a bike for a few years. I lived in my new house 12 years and had 18 new bikes. But if this one is what they say I'll keep it.

No worry mates. It was all in good fun. However i was thinking about something while i was in bed ,ast night. I know we have not seen any real dyno number and Richard gadson said about 174-179 but has anyone wondered wqhy we know that the boys have made over 300hp on the dyno with NO2 but we have yet to see a baseline pull yet. I was just wondering has that question ever been posed

Zermatt,
I'll be heading down to the shop later this morning and I'll see if there is any additional information to piss people off with. Every day I go the Kawasaki.com and play the header page making sure it still says COMING MARCH 06....and it does. as of 3/27/06 8:20 EST...

I'll probably be calling my shops today too, but so far their responses have never led me astray. Their responses have always been along the lines of "we don't have any clue when the 14 will arrive, but we'll call you as soon as we hear something or see a bike."

I believe them. They know nothing. No dealer has a clue. Any dealer that claims to know is lying, making it up, trying to get people to stop by and look at gloves & helmets. It's a waste of time.

Unfortunately for all of us, the bikes will be here when they get here.

So we wait...

Man I could not agree with you more Zermatt, I went to the dealer and they think it may be here most likely by the end of next week but no promises...and have you seen the new Jackets??? Just kidding about the last part. It could happen any day if things get ahead of schedule??? I'll be sure to yell if I hear anything.
