LCD Display
Hey guys,
I'm new to the board but I've read as much of the online literature as I could find on the ZX-14 and a question popped to mind that doesn't seem to be answered anywhere I looked...
Does the LCD digital display on the ZX-14 have a backlight, or are you pretty much out of luck reading it at night time? It seems like it ought to have one, but I can't get any confirmation of this over the web so I thought I might pose the question here to you all.

it's backlit and hadseveral controls forbirghtness and other things too.. I didnt have time to play with it cuz I was too busy riding!

How big is it, Fish? Resolution? Would be cool if you could tap in a rearview camera.

Seem to recall it being about 2" x 3.5" or so... maybe a bit bigger or smaller... Its an LCD display and it looked like a full matrix... funny you mention the camera thing as one of the comments I had was that I wondered who would be the first person to hack it and upload their own logos etc into it.. or possibly other tweaks..

I've seen it at night it's Orange in color, and clear as a bell. I suspect different colors (aftermarket) will come in time. One Note it may be difficult to read at dusk and dawn. White backgrounds can sometime be difficult to read in between day and night.

I would love to be able to alternate the display from stock information to display rear-view camera I have on bike which is currently running on a seperate 3.5" monitor. Does anyone know if this mod is feasable and if so how it can be modified. Thanks guys. Blaggie.

I had my LEDS changed to Blue and the reverse Illumiglow guages, looks great and much easier to distinguish at night. I dont know id the display has the resolution to support a camera... Just my 2 cents

my lcd is trashd , wreck last spring , the cover is fine , its the gray LCD is crackd and cant display anything
SUUUUUX!!!!!! temp, gas, od, shift light adjus, can see any of it
new 1 around 700dol
any suggestion on where 2 find 1????????????????????????
