Another example with dual tailpipes. This is definitely the look I want, however, the canisters should be of tad bigger caliber, and, polished ss or titanium instead of the aluminum please, same as the canister on the 4-2-1 system.

Here is the retail pricing on full systems. I am still waiting word from Japan on the dual slip on pricing. (not advertising just answering question posed).

Ditto what Mike said... If you want a decent pipe check out the offerings from the good people that make this site happen.... They're all listed in the Sponsors Page (see top menu bar) and they all make great products. All offer favourable deals to members... so if you want the hookup.. visit a site sponsor.

If it be performance ya want...4-1 not 4-2, that's only good for looks. Much better power with a 4-1 (Fact). If its low end grunt ya want, stay with yer factory setup.

I want to keep the low-end grunt, but get better sound. Maybe just a set of Ti slip-ons from Muzzy are in order.

zerMATT,
You'd still lose noticable amounts of low end grunt...look at the setup on my Busa and check out my dyno runs on it on the "Welcome Brock as our newest sponsor" thread...I can tell you that even with the huge high RPM gains, (see Brocks comments) I felt a tremendous loss of grunt at low end...and it pissed me right the fuck off; that's why I sold the bike. Yes I want sound and reduced weight too, but not at the expense of low end RWTQ...been there, done that...great sound...so next time I'll stick a fucking basball card with a clothespick on the front wheel to make more noise.

I disagree.
The 4 into 1 collector may make more peak horsepower, but at the expense of a more narrow, 'peaky' powerband. The 4 into 2 into 1 collector generally produces a wider powerband because of the wave characteristics it affords (stronger wave reflection due to a less pronounced change in area - as compared to the area in the primary - in the initial 1 into 2 collector as compared to a 1 into 4 collector - as far as I understand it). And after all, it's not the peak number but the area under the curve that tells the tale...
In reading your other posts I would assume that a wider, more user-friendly powerband is exactly what you're looking for, rather than a peaky powerband.

Maybe I'm seeing things but that system appears to be a 4 into 2 into 1. It also appears as though it's a 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 collectored system.
Anyone else see this?
