Rob - I wasn't referring to the number of motorcycles sold, I was referring to the model selection that the Euro folks get. Every time I pick up a Euro bike rag, it seems like there are new models and colors that we never see on this side of the pond. Lots of hooligan bikes, naked bikes, dual-sport, touring bikes, etc.
Regarding sales volume, I have no idea who buys more bikes, that's why I was asking the post if anyone knew where the US vs Europe were on these "big motor" sportbikes. If we buy more over here in the US, then I could completely understand why we are first on the list for distribution.
Sorry for being unclear on that one

IN Europe the 12 and Busa sold more or less the same. This 14 will sell as the ZZR line has a huge following over here.
In the US the Busa way outsold the 12, due to the biggest is best principle that tends to be common over there and also, the way the US rags slated it when it was first launched. There also seems alot more of the herd instinct prevailing, particularily with drag racing.
Not having a dig at you guys but some of the US Busa sites are beyond belief in what they believe about that bike.

From what i understand, the first batch of bikes goes to continent with most # of down payments- proven serious sales!

quote: How would Kawasaki know a potential buyers email address?
1- I'm not a potential buyer, I ordered the bike six months ago.
2- They know my email address because I sent them an email after the order.
3- Afterwards they have been polite enough to keep me informed. In my country this is called "customer oriented policy". Is it so strange for you?

Who you trying to kid Bob, England doesn't have a 'season' unless you count the foggy season, the damp season, the rainy season and the nasty weather season...

You're right on the money with that comment. I'm going down to St. Austell this morning and want to go on the bike, it's only 37 miles but it's zero degrees out there.............and it's nearly April dammit.
Seriously, our first speed meeting is at the end of May. Doesn't look like I'll have the 14 in time now.
Just been outside, looks like it's going to snow now. Think I'll take the car. Never mind, the weather forecast said Spring arrives on Thursday in time for the weekend, it's going to rain.....hooray.
If you ever wondered why so many Brits emigrate, it's the weather !
