Kawasaki ZX-14 Short-lived??
I've loved Kawasaki Ninjas all my life and I was the happiest person to see that Kawasaki had finally brought out a bike which has stirred up things within the Industry.I intended to buy the ZX-14 by the year end but now, I'd have to wait and see if Kawaski is going to bring out a Bike which'll beat the 2007 SIX CYLINDER SUZUKI HAYABUSA. YUP you read it right. Its powered by a six cylinder engine (a version of the engine on the SUZUKI STRATOSPERE). Anyone out there whose got more specs on the 2007 Hayabusa. The Suzuki Stratosphere 1100cc engine with 24 valves DOHC engine claims 180 horses .Im sure Suzuki will up the CC for the Hayabusa.

Your going to wait a whole year on a rumor? This was in MCN but for now is just pure speculation.

...OverG...don't overreact...get over it and get on over to your local Kawasaki dealership and fork over your money and go over to the break-in procedure so that you don't over-rev the bike and over spend on non-warranty repairs....

what kind of warrenty reapirs wormy ? what are the symptoms?
Suzuki better figgure out how to get the tourque up on that strato-busa , give it a good stroke job , a six cyl would be too wide would it not, unless you like training blobs
why not a 1500cc v-4 .

The BUSA was a joke ........ why would anything they come up with to compete be any different!??!
That supposed 6 cyl would just not cut it! I thiink they should try out a V3!!! That would be good for them!

There have been a lot zx-12 riders who didn't see the humor in that joke. Anyone who thinks they are a joke must have limited knowledge , an open mind can be a very benificial thing.

Don't fucking knock it, be grateful these 2 most excellent bike manufactures are going to duke it out toe to toe again, take a ring side seat and enjoy the fight!

As of this moment when the ZX-14 is not quite yet at the hands of consumers
the Busa is still the best bike...some weeks
AND it stays a very good bike
after all Silver Medal is not that bad
ZX-12R had it for years and is now stepping down to bronze
when ZX-14 pushes Busa to silver taking the gold medal to Kawasaki
in sport-touring class

Ya sure -- a joke, maybe in your mind. Get real man, the Busa was no joke...take off yer blinders before you make that type of a statement. It was and still is a serious piece of hardware, and will be for some time to come. This is fact.

I'm not worried about a new Busa if and thats a BIG IF they even make it ....Zook doesn't need to make a faster Busa to sell busas , all zook needs to do is build one to match the zx14 and they will have a winner....... compair the 05 zx10 to the 05 Gixxer , both are so close that's it a toss up......BUT the gixxer out sells the zx10........ So if zook steps up to the power out put of the zx14 then the 99 to 06 Busas owners will be standing at the door with cash in hand........Zook just needs to give a little milk and not the hole cow to be a winner in the game.......I for one am not waiting for 07..........

I guess the busa is a joke, all that bottom end torque ticked the shit out of me every time I road it. More than any ninja has done untill maybe the ZX 14. I guess I'll know in a couple of weeks. Talk about jokes, open up the record books and look at all the busa jokes and then laugh all you want.

Well, now that think about it, hat 6 cylindr engine would be wide as hell on that busa and put a few bucks in th 14, and it still will match the power. Sounds like a crazy idea to me for suzuki but hey, those engineers are known to create miracles.

Yer Busa! Or did you get rid of it.
Gonzo....had her for 2 seasons....rode the piss outta her and decided it was time for a change. I don't usually stay with a bike more than 2 seasons anyway. But, I have to say...have had 50 bikes and that one was right up there...more fun than I had ever had on any bike before (till the 10R). She bites though, and real hard if yer not paying attention...that being said, I'll miss her till I get the ZX14, if it ever comes...
