Gearing for top speed
Question for all you technical guru's out there.
Standard ZX14 final drive is 17/42. Said to be speed restricted to 186mph, which means about 10100rpm on standard gearing.
Assuming the limiter cuts in at 10100rpm, if I changed the final drive ratio to 18/41 which gives 190mph at 9500rpm (peak power) or 202mph at 10100, would it work ?
