Vintage Rocket zx14 commercial

Hey V.R did you by chance find out if you could get a copy of that TV commercial of the 14 or when it might be aired ?
Id buy a copy from KHI if possible or donate to zx14.com
I always wanted to see a good Kawsaki ninja big bore commercial , always thought KHI would want to remain on the "low low" with machines like this , although they did make a cool commercial for the 2003 zx6r .

Do you have any other info on the intensions of that commercial ? was it a commercial for the local Van dealer or KMC themselves ?

Im going to bet it will be from KMC , What would be very cool is for KMC to mail out a DVD copy of that commercial to each and every owner of the zx12 , might boost sales , even though the zx14 would not need the help according to my perceptions of reports that bike is going to sell it self .

I wish I knew for sure where we'll see it or if we'll see it. It looked to me to be too big to be a dealer's commercial, can't say for sure. They were playing with some pretty expensive toys to film the bike. The local production company did not know what market it would air or when. I thought we might see it on a Kawasaki sponsored motorcyle show, there must be few out there. The Kawasaki people were from California and the 3 red bikes on set were US models if that helps determine where the commercial might be intended for. If I find any more info I will pass it along. I also don't want cause any trouble with Kawasaki. The shoot was under tight security when the bike was visible on the street. I am sure they feel very strongly about how the flagship should be presented to the public. I am also concerned Fish might help them find me too! Ha Ha.
I hope we all get to see it, but insurance companies are pretty uptight about vehicles capable of warp speed.

Just put it on the web for download at KMC pages all over the world
(or better yet: sneek it into BitTorrent etc as a "secret" commercial)

I've already got my Media Center pc setup to record *all* speed channel Bike Week related shows... if there's an ad aired, I'll catch it. The only problem is that I may not watch every second of the coverage personally, so if anyone sees an ad on Speed, post up the date and time here ASAP, as well as which program was on while it was aired. I'm determined to catch that thing on TV and will do my best to post it so everyone can see it.

What video it is?
That time waro where a guy comes from a warp drive on the ZX-14 Warp model
and sees himself just going for that ride?
I have that already
ACtually I have a dozen different videos
and so many pictures I can't count, but my PC can
341 MB 1709 files + 42,2 MB 123 files (that' s my slideshow folder)
My personal photos of ZX-14: 72,2 MB 85 files
Many photos have been cropped for better subject focus
thus "duplicates" exists
Most of them are already at

Anyone know where I can download something to squash down this 640x480 mpeg4 video I shot? Files are WAY too big ... 3 minute clip is 245 mb

...

need some assistance for utilities that can compress to say 320x200 and then maybe convert .avi to quicktime? this is all new to me.
