I'm not impressed by the display in Vegas, that does not sale motorcycles.

So motorcycle companies should just "plop" a new ride at the dealer and let the public discover it by accident?

get a clue...

So we should take the word from a bias gathering, when you have a killer product the public will figure it out, this is starting to remind me of the last failure.

So all the media's biased... everyone there... not a single straight-shooter among them?

Sure, the public will eventually figure it out - and in very great detail. People will rip this bike apart from one end to the other and discover every little tidbit of information about it. Plenty of schmucks will take this bike to a drag strip and see what it can do, others will tour with it, others will tackle some curves... so what? Why can't we sit back and let Kawi show off for a few days 'till the bike actually *does* hit the street?

You can chose not to listen... but hanging out on a ZX-14 BB isn't going to get that done for ya.

I for one want all the photo's and info we can get, until I get my bike.
Even then, I will be very interested in info from the pro's like RG, Schnitz, Muzzy and Brock.
Set up tips, maintenance issues, performance tests and dyno's.
Why would any of us want to be left in the dark right from the start?

BTW ... Fish and Mike, thanks for relaying everything you can!

Maybe he is as far as you're concerned fish. I mean honestly, would you give it the bashing it deserved if it was a piece of shit? Kawasaki is a sponsor for this website, and that has to be a big plus for you. Plus for a Joe Average like yourself to get included in these press intos,.... it is very possible it could cloud your judgement just a tiny bit. Note I said possible, I didn't say that is what has happened. Besides you haven't really posted a review yet.

I was wondering when this point was going to get brought up.

ninjaman... yep I'd bash it if it was a piece of shit. You think I could lie to all of you? You can talk back... this isnt a magazine where we have the ability to not publish people's letters if we dont like them...

I kinda resent that.... I've been very open in my feelings about all the bikes (positive or negative) for the last 6 years.

how can I post a review when I have to answer these questions every five minutes!!!

Don't get your panties in a wad fish, it was an honest question and you gave an honest answer. Everything needs to be put in check every now and again. Don't take it personal bro, I didn't mean it in a bad way. In a nutshell it was my way of saying you're human and I could see where you might be inclined to make a slip.

Like I said, I'm not stating that this has happened.

Now get back to writing your report before I send freek over to kick off in your ass. Being as you layed out all night partying and are surely worn thin, I'd say freek will have an easy go of it.

I can tell you from talking to Brock, this 14 is for real. Fish_Antlers would not say a bike is something it isn't. He has a reputation too. The 14 has 52 more cc's than the busa, how fast do you expect it to be? .2 faster than the busa, stock for stock, is a huge difference. You racers know this already!!

I did enjoy reading Brock's evaluation on dragbike.com of the 14.
